The Great American Apostasy: A Scheme of Redistribution and Its Grand Departure from The Truth

Conservative Refocus – by Barry Secrest

Nations considered as Socialist are illustrated in red hues, while blue hues denote capitalist nations…..the problem becomes readily apparent….

APOSTASY

1 : renunciation of a religious faith

2 : abandonment of a previous loyalty : defection

Are we living in the midst of America’s lost decade, or something even worse?

It has become a battle cry, emanating from the deepest and darkest recesses of both the Obama regime and its elitist aficionados, that inequality of wealth and income resides at the very heart of what ultimately ails the United States of America.  Moreover, this particular inequality hails solely from the fault of rampant capitalism and its greediest purveyors, or so they say.

Meanwhile, to most economists, wealth, much like rain or the lack thereof, is certainly not the fault of the areas  which have plenty of rain, nor is it necessarily the fault of those areas that don’t; however, be it deluge or drought, the thing itself does sometimes speak to something much deeper going on within any given environment or economy.

The political left, in perfecting this illusory notion of forced inequality, will constantly trot out the wealthiest in America’s business and industry and point to these as being both at the very center of this noxious problem and, therefore, certifiably culpable, even with an America increasingly impoverished to the point that the US middle class can no longer boast as being the wealthiest in the world.

However, what both the media and the political establishment within the vaunted inner beltway leave out is the fact that the American middle class’ glaring loss of wealth is only a very recent development, having taken place exclusively since the Progressives came into full and almost complete power over these past six years-and as a result of Obama’s vacuous leadership.

Under the pseudonym of Left-Wing capitalism, also known as crony capitalism, which is essentially a porn-like orgy between politicians and ultra-big business,  big government Progressives have co-opted mega-business into a symbiotic relationship in which each exchanges favors for the other, and to the exclusion of all else.

It’s here, within the US economy, where such a relationship between power-players becomes parasitical to America, as a whole.

However, these, among the most glaring of facts, somehow become lost within a vast and endless ocean of artificed media drama. Much like a movie exhibiting a dazzling light show of meaningless spectacle, it becomes easier to understand how even the most basic of cause and effect events gets lost amid this mind-numbing light show.

These special political effects extravaganza, as engineered chiefly by the Washington elites of Leftism in power along with the media,  have produced a dazzling display of fictionalized spectacle, as even now, books dedicated under the shadowy veils of Socialism and Keynesian economics seek to explain that the fault lies fully within the realm of free market capitalism as established by America, long ago, and as America’s middle class continues to sink in a bog of simplistic propaganda.

Indeed, according to the Socialists of the world, free market capitalism is a system that simply will not work, never mind its centuries-old run-up of success after success, even catapulting the US economy into number one status for well over the past century and even beyond that, while also providing a shining example to the world of how the thing is properly done.

Until now….

What they will not tell you is how socialism, at the cost of the very basic tenets of capitalism, is the creeping poisonous vine that has tenuously strangled the entire world economy, while being mixed in with minor episodes of free market capitalism, such as in China.  The act of China’s turning a Communist nation into a veritable economic powerhouse, over the past 40 years, has many experts scratching their heads; how is it that a Communist dictatorship can outpace America’s free market capitalism?

The simple answer is that it’s not exactly free market capitalism, but rather it’s a form of Left-Wing Capitalist fascism hiding what could be considered a form of indentured servitude.

The Chinese do not encourage everyone to go out and work hard, but rather they demand it.

By utilizing harsh factory work camps, etc., the Chinese have catapulted their annual per capita income to just over a rather stingy $6,000 per year, as compared to America’s world-leading $ 51,000 per year in per capita income, by total population.  Indeed, in China, most of the proceeds for its mad dash to profit go to the relative few within the Chinese dictatorial oligarchy, which offers up a truly staggering example of income equality eclipsed historically only by feudalist monarchies of the dark ages.

In essence, the redistribution of wealth in China is executed by the very people who hold both the political power and the wealth; so, is this starting to sound familiar?

Meanwhile, our collectivist cousins, huddled commandingly within the center of America’s Socialist-Democrat party, will point to the various brush fires of economic upheaval under an increasingly Obama- regulated (less-then-free market) economy-while insisting that the sky will soon be falling at the very behest of those greedy US wealth holders (who, by the way, are the only ones producing any meaningful results).

But then, there is one very telling fact, which is continually left out of the Progressives’ simplistic dogmatic equations.

In the year 2000, the top 15 counties in the US, as measured by per capita income, were generously spread all across the US, with relatively small pockets of concentrated wealth within any one area. However, something rather odd began happening between the periods of 2000 and 2014.

In fact, in 2014 the pattern of wealth concentration had altered dramatically, with one particular area exploding in the amount of concentrated wealth….

Indeed, in the year 2000, a disproportionate concentration of four counties, located in or around a tidy corner pocket of Virginia, held vast proportions of national wealth, and at the center of the pocket?

Welcome to Washington DC.

As with all things, reaching well beyond the happenstance, if we fast forward to 2012 and look at the same set of documented information, the illusory data proposed by our elitist countrymen stretches from strawman deflection to verifiable red herring.

Those four counties surrounding the inner beltway of Washington DC, in 2012, had propagated into exactly eight of America’s wealthiest counties, all surrounding the inner beltway. In effect, the last five years have seen a proliferation of wealth both in and about the nation’s capital, unlike anything ever seen in the nation’s history.

Of all the nation’s counties, fully one half of America’s wealthiest now, are the very same ones located in and about Washington DC, which now boasts the highest per capita income in the United States, if not the world.

Welcome to America’s brand new oligarchy, a place where essentially nothing of intrinsic value is ever produced or manufactured, despite its inhabitants making well over double the per capita income of most Americans.

This is most glaringly where, what could easily be termed an apostasy, comes into play, as the leadership of America has increasingly defected from the framework of a constitutional Republic, and bolted for the door of command and control collectivism. This Great American Apostacy speaks to a grand departure from the truth by America’s leadership–in essence the abandonment of America’s greatest loyalty, that being a system which is primarily run by The People and their economic engines of vigor, which we refer to as business, in favor of a system where wealth is controlled by those who reside at the very center of power, and the wealth which they summarily abscond from The People.

But why, many may continually ask?

It’s simple, in that it is difficult to control anything, while everything’s being controlled by consumer/individual demand; once the governmental elites or the establishment controls both the wealth and the medical care, the bigger aim becomes much easier to emplace, and its an aim which has been in the works at the very least since John F. Kennedy’s day.

Further, America, despite producing fully one fourth of the entire world’s economy with less than 5% of the earth’s total population, needs to be deconstructed so that other nations in the world will have more, which is a theory fraught with whimsical errors, and yet the Progressives in power will cling to this un-truth right up to the point where it becomes far too late for them to recognize their error.

Either way, if we wish to truly see what lies at the very heart of America’s income inequality, we need only look to the very people who seem intent upon blaming any and everyone else for the very thing that they are quite obviously most guilty of–in effect–those who seek to distribute America’s wealth are the very ones who hold it.

Who, by the way, are also the same ones now trying to control most facets of your life. So, the next time you hear some inner beltway politician bemoaning US income equality, now you’ll at least understand the other side of the story.

  1. This article is stereotypical… labeling political parties and people in broad brush strokes. The charts suck. Some not even labeled, just a bunch of colors. I just glanced through it. I wonder if the quote from JFK is true? Probably.
