The inspiration behind the picture the White House posted on Facebook appears to have been the fat-burning, sweat-provoking physical activities the president and first lady were encouraging at the annual Easter Egg roll.
But the blue boxing gloves on a rather puny-looking president provided the kind of inspiration to Twitter users that Obama’s handlers certainly didn’t anticipate, especially when you consider the photos available of a battered Harry Reid.
And of course, one good media mashup on twitter is good for a flurry of punchy and irreverently responsive tweets:
Hey, if they want to reduce the national debt, $1,000 bucks and you get one round with that scrawny piece of sh^t!
