The war on drugs is a war on you (Part one) – Truthloader

Since President Richard Nixon coined the phrase “the war on drugs” in 1971, successive US Presidents have introduced legislation and taken actions designed to destroy the international trade in international narcotics. However, instead of achieving their stated goal, they have helped to incarcerate American citizens at an alarming rate, targeted poor people and ethnic minorities and spent more than a trillion dollars. After forty years, illegal drugs are more readily available, cheaper and purer than at any time since the war on drugs began. This is a series explaining how the biggest victims of the war on drugs are actually the people it was meant to protect.

  1. HERE COMES FIDEL CASTRO’S THIRD WAVE OF CUBAN ILLEGALS INTO SOUTH FLORIDA, FOLKS. ONE MORE BRILLIANT MILITARY MOVE BY THE OPPOSITION AS OUR ARMY AND ITS HONORED VETS LAY IN MORAL SHAMBLES FROM DECADES OF COMMUNIST ONSLAUGHT. CAN IT BE STOPPED? ONLY WHEN WE WAKE UP TO THE FACT THESE ILLEGALS WILL MURDER YOUR CHILDREN TO MAKE ROOM FOR THEIR OWN BECAUSE THEY ARE JUST THAT DESPERATE. HUMAN MOSH PITS ON AMERICAN SOIL IS A GRIM REALITY AND HAS BEEN SINCE AT LEAST THE 70’S. PROBABLY EVEN EARLIER. I’M TOO “YOUNG” TO KNOW ABOUT THAT.

  2. When the people wake up to the fact that the war on drugs is nothing but a BIG money maker for both sides, then we may see a change in the system. The best war on drugs would be to legalize them. Legalizing drugs will take all or most of the profits out of illegal sales. Our national forests again will return to nature, with-out the illegal pot grows and the garbage that is left behind. There will be fewer deaths due to illegal labs that blow up. The prison industrial industry will suffer due to the lack of inmates, which would in turn save the tax payers money. Think of all the tax payer money wasted trying to stop the flow. The list goes on. The people that want these drugs will find them even with the war. There has been and always will be drugs that some people will go to any length to obtain. Let’s let them have em and cut down on the violent crimes that occur due to the high prices demanded for the drugs. Yes it is a war on the people, and the sooner we put a stop to it the better for all.

    1. “Legalizing drugs will take all or most of the profits out of illegal sales.”

Exactly. So why would the so-called ‘government’ give up their near-monopolistic stranglehold on the illegal drug sales market? What’s the incentive?

“The prison industrial industry will suffer due to the lack of inmates, which would in turn save the tax payers money.”

Those prisons may have been built with taxpayers money, but they are almost all owned by private corporations, and make huge profits for their owners. They have a deal with the so-called ‘government’ to have them filled to at least 90% – 95% capacity, who also make huge profits through the corrupt court system (and related entities). So again, what is their incentive to give up those huge profits? Surely not out of any sense of obligation to “we the people”.

The ONLY way that any of this would be possible is AFTER a revolution has taken this country back for “we the people”, and all the Zionist traitors have been hung.
