HAMILTON Twp, NJ (CBS) – Residents reported feeling tremors and shaking in Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean and Camden Counties in New Jersey Thursday afternoon.
However, authorities say the USGS is reporting no earthquakes nearby.

The National Weather Service tweeted they have confirmation of a sonic boom, not an earthquake in South Jersey.

Near hammonton airport NJ a sonic boom has been recorded.
