WSB Radio – by Sandra Parrish Atlanta — Those on both sides of the gun debate plan to bring their dueling messages to the Georgia State Capitol this morning.
The “No More Names” bus tour, started by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, will bring its 25-state, 100 day tour to Atlanta urging America’s leaders to support what it calls common-sense gun policies.
The group will urge Georgia’s Senators Johnny Isakson and Saxby Chamblis to take another look at background check legislation.
Meantime, as a counter demonstration, gun rights supporters plan to bring their own message. Those with carry permits are being urged to bring their weapons as a show of lawful demonstration.
