NBC News – by Shamar WaltersTwo suspects are in custody after two police officers were shot during a traffic stop in West Virginia. Authorities in Lewisburg said both officers are expected to survive and that one was hit in the rib but was wearing a protective vest, and the second officer was grazed by a bullet.
The names of those taken into custody were not immediately released. The shooting happened after Lewisburg police stopped a vehicle with stolen plates on Interstate 64 and were fired upon, Donna Hinkle, director of administration at the Greenbrier County 911 Center, told NBC News.
Shots were fired at the officer from the suspected stolen vehicle as well as a red pickup truck that was traveling with that car, Hinkle said, and police returned fire and struck the driver of the first car, she said. The red pickup sped off and the suspect was found in some woods about a mile from where the shooting took place, Hinkle said. One of the shot officers only graduated from the police academy two weeks ago, Hinkle said.

Is it me or would the streets be safer without police? I mean, NOBODY has ever shot at me. But people seem to shoot at cops a lot. This makes me feel like cops are a detriment to society and in fact make our streets much more dangerous.
They belong in jail. Can’t shoot for sh#t.
I’m surprised the author of this NBC article didn’t include this little paragraph (side note) at the end of the story to continue reiterating the bullshit MSM police shooting propaganda like all the other writers seem to do:
“Law enforcement officers around the United States have been on edge since the Dec. 20 shooting of two New York police officers by a gunman who said he was seeking to avenge the deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of white police officers.”
they weren’t hit with a barrage of bullets like unarmed suspects usually are? can anyone other than the cops and the bought off news rag confirm this story?
