Listen to what your president said, “No government is going to have the capacity to read every person’s texts or [posts on] social media.” Obviously they are doing this already or trying to do it. With technology allowing for the easy sorting of files based on metadata that is available to all of us for free including sorting photos by faces automatically. I am more than sure the government is able to sort out our digital data if they so choose.
The White House announced a plan Wednesday to help prevent Americans from falling prey to violent ideologies of the sort that drove mass killings in New York, San Bernardino, Calif., Chattanooga, Tenn., and Orlando in the past year.
The effort, which is being overseen by the Department of Homeland Security, is short on details and new funding. It seeks to mobilize teams of teachers, mental health professionals and community leaders to deal with a problem that offers few easy solutions.
“This is a different kind of challenge,” Obama said after the San Bernardino shootings in December. “No government is going to have the capacity to read every person’s texts or [posts on] social media.” In most cases, the shooters are radicalized over the Internet without ever communicating directly with members of the Islamic State, al-Qaeda or other terrorist groups.
If the government (Obama administration) wants to identify home grown extremists, why not just monitor the FBI? That will put an end to all these bullshit terror attacks.
The US government is to blame for the radicalization. It’s not as if “our” corrupt government is just minding its own business all around the world, is it? How many other countries are currently pursuing world domination, with the senseless deaths of millions on their hands, as well as military bases and CIA agents in countries all around the globe?
If asshole US agents want to identify the source of anti-American “extremism,” all they need to do is look in the mirror and also at each other. These idiots think that Uncle Shmuel has the right to kill any people he wants to, and that no one has the right to retaliate.
Pro government extremism is good and unlimited.
Liberty extremism is evil and must be punished.
America is looking more Soviet than Soviet Russia.
