Why is Obama Spending $500 Million on Public Relations?

Constitution – by Michael Ware

We have all been around those people. Those people that are constantly talking about themselves. How good looking they are. What they have done and how well they have done it. How they accomplished this and that, when we all know they had nothing to do with those things they take credit for.

It is usually that guy in the office. The girl at the gym who goes on and on about themselves. And we all know that the reason that they talk so much about themselves and their accomplishments is because they have never done anything. They are nobodies and do nothings, but they try to cover it up with false bravado and lies.

Barack Obama is that guy.

How do I know?

He has had to spend $500 Million a year to convince America that he has been doing something besides working on his short game.

The Washington Times reports

The White House said Thursday that President Obama’s costly addition of hundreds of public relations specialists to the government payroll was necessary to tell the public about the president’s achievements.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the administration “has made it a priority to interact with the public and interact with the press corps and to be as transparent as possible.”

What he is telling us is that though Obama has had a press secretary and a press operation staff, this was not enough. They needed more to get the word out. The American people had to be told how good a job he has done. This is the reason that this much money was spent on propaganda, I mean information about the president’s achievements.

And that is not all.

The Times continues

The Government Accountability Office said Mr. Obama has added hundreds of PR specialists during his tenure, costing taxpayers about $500 million per year. That’s in addition to $100 million per year spent on private-sector spinmeisters and $800 million spent annually on advertising.

Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
