WTF. This statement is bullshit. Yes, I could quit my job and work under the table for less than half the wages I am receiving now; however, doing this just to spite the IRS would be insane. When I figure in my benefits of health/life insurance, my options to move out of the USA if desired, as well as having a steady income, it wouldn’t pay for me to be self-employed or working in an underground economy.
No bonafide employer will file your W-2 as exempt because they will be liable for your unpaid tax debt. Furthermore, what will a person working under the table for cash do if we go to a cashless society — barter in gold and silver ? (good luck with that if possession of precious metals is outlawed).
If gold and silver become illegal, will people sell their holdings to the FED in a buy-back program, or hide it and use it covertly on the Black Market? There are ways that I could make over $1-million a year, but most of these underground ventures are highly illegal.
Yes, I pay my taxes — but this doesn’t mean that I will jump off a 1000-foot cliff if the Government tells me to do so. What people say and, what people do are generally opposites in a tyrannical, crunch scenario. Only time will tell.
There are almost 100-million people receiving welfare payouts from the Government — these people are the ones most likely to follow orders.
BTW: The best way to avoid the Government is by not owning anything of value which is registered (e.g. precious metals, guns, real estate, food production, etc). If you have anything the FED wants, and they know you have it, then you’ll be among the first people visited.
It is my opinion that anyone who DOES surrenders his guns will be doing so just out of fear. Bravado will probably disappear from a number of people once they hear the front door being rammed open and the black uniforms file into the house after of course shooting the dog.
That’s why all the dogs and some helpless individuals are being shot dead now. It’s to instill fear, so that a larger percentage of persons will cave in on their first visit and give up their guns with no fight or complaint. We’re not even protected by the Geneva Convention now.
