Perhaps the most meaningful rock song ever, by one of my fave bands (and I even saw them once). thanks! with the greatest lyric line ever–“meet the new boss, same as the old boss” (could it be that truth was the reason Pete Townsend was accused of pedophilia? When he was sexually abused himself? where do you think the “wicked uncle Ernie” “fiddling about” in the Who’s “Rock Opera Tommy” comes from?)
