Fifteen people, many of them teenagers and some as young as 11, were shot early Sunday morning at a Miami nightclub, Miami-Dade police reported.

Police spokeswoman Frederica Burden said the victims ranged in age from 11 to 25 and were taken to area hospitals.

Several victims were released from hospitals Sunday afternoon and a person who’d earlier been listed as critical was upgraded to critical but stable, police said in a news release.

It’s not clear whether the nightclub catered to teenagers. No public safety officials have explained why so many youths 16 and younger were inside a nightclub after the midnight Miami-Dade County curfew.

Authorities said the shooting happened about 1 a.m. at The Spot nightclub at NW 64th Street and Seventh Avenue.

CNN affiliate WPLG said a large party was being held when shooting broke out. Witnesses told police they heard about 100 gunshots, WPLG reported.

“At this point, we are not sure if we have one shooter or multiple shooters,” Burden said. No arrests had been made by mid-Sunday afternoon.

Capt. Ignatius Carroll of Miami Fire Rescue said the scene was chaotic when emergency medical personnel arrived. Wounded people were found inside the club and on the sidewalk, he said.

“We understand there was a gathering taking place at some sort of little nightclub,” he said. “We had a large crowd.”

With so many wounded people, emergency responders had to treat some victims on the sidewalk.

Burden didn’t know a motive for the shooting.

“Investigators are interviewing witnesses at this time, but we are also asking the public for their help by providing us with any information they may have on this incident,” she said.

According to CNN affiliate WFOR, the Miami-Dade County curfew makes it against the law for children younger than 17 to be out on their own between midnight and 6 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The curfew is 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. other nights.

    1. We need gun confiscation “to protect our children”.
They said it could be one or multiple “shooters”…because they haven’t gotten instructions from the propaganda ministry about what BS they’re supposed to spew to the media.
Incredible how they frequently get “shooter(s)” and “children” into the propaganda mantra.
Repetition. “Guns, Shooter(s), Children” = Bad, Bad, Bad.
      Obey…People…Obey
      Eric Holder’s traitorous modus operandi.

      1. I just watched the CNN (CIA News Network) video.
        Now I know it’s bulls**t.
Why do I keep seeing the well spoken male witnesses lower legs and cowboy boots while he is talking to the media.
For aesthetic purposes, I think they could have shown him up to the chest…to see if the “outfit” was nice for a pedophile nightclub (sarcasm).
Or maybe this is another guy who wants to be employed in future “operations”.
Now, all he has to do, is change his footwear.

As an aside…why do you think ISIS, Boko Harem (didn’t they have a hit in the 60’s?…”A Whiter Shade of Pale” (more sarcasm…for those who don’t know me)) and every other boogey men cover their faces in almost all media photos recently? Because they don’t want facial recognition software to “rat” them out. That way they can work as future fake “extremists” elsewhere in the world via the fake reality presented to the sheeple by MSM.

    1. I don’t go either. It seems people just don’t know how to behave.

And why are 11 year olds being allowed to mingle with adults in a nightclub? My 11 year old was in bed by 9pm. Where are the parents?
      . . .

  1. That is South Florida and shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone. That is foreign country within the confines of this country and if you don’t believe it go there and see for your self. If Florida had an asshole that would be it!

  2. Actually Florida has many assholes: (in no particular order) Charlie Crist, Bill Nelson, Marco Rubio, Debbie Wasserman-Shultz, Alan Grayson, Benjamin Crump & the Trayvon crew, officer Baker (gave me a ticket), etc…
