99ers HR 589 Supporters The First Four Months of the 112th Congress

It’s been four months and change since the 112th Congress first convened and they have done absolutely nothing to address the jobs issue that they were elected on.  Of course they use “Jobs” as a buzz word when making assertions that are unpopular with the people.

If you listen to the neo-cons, who absolutely represent no one other than 20% of the top 10%, they say, “Cut taxes for the rich for jobs.  Cut Social Security for jobs. Cut Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, and welfare for jobs.

Then you can listen to the social communists portraying the other side, I don’t know who they represent, but they are saying, “More stimulus money to corporations for jobs.  We need TARP for jobs.  We need to give money to Brazil for jobs.  Legalize all of the illegal aliens for jobs.”

Do they really think we are that stupid?  The fact is they do not think about us at all as they know the reality and that is that this is a war.  They throw the word “Jobs” at us as an insult.  It is their way of laughing in our faces as they cut our throats.

Yesterday Rand Paul was front and center in the mainstream propaganda and declaring that Boeing should be allowed to open a new plant in South Carolina, which is one of these so called “Right to Work” states.  He said that Obama was punishing Republicans by not allowing Boeing to move, which is one of the more honest things he has said, as big business Boeing would have to be considered a Republican establishment.

I think that what “Right to Work” means is the right to work at a substandard wage, as unions, like it or not, set the wage standard in this country.  I have never liked the idea of unions and in a true constitutional republic they would be unnecessary.  You ask why?  Well I will tell you.

If, as the Constitution dictates, we the people had absolute control over our natural resources the corporations would have to treat  us good and pay us well, or we could just simply not allow them to manufacture our resources.  In truth this is what our government is supposed to be doing.  But as they have sold their souls to the corporations and betrayed the people, it is not happening.  You see, this is where licensing comes in.  If a corporation wants a license our government can require them to guarantee our Constitutional rights at the work place, a real living wage, and good health care.

You see our government was meant to control corporations to the benefit of the people.  They have turned that completely around and are now trying with all their might to control the people to the benefit of the corporations.

The bottom line is the resources belong to the people.  Those who make up a corporation are only entitled to their individual share.  And if they want anyone else’s share to make profit from, they are supposed to have to compensate us in the manner mentioned above.

Ron Paul is an old dog, and unlike his son Rand, he knows which way the wind is blowing and that the only way he will go down in history as the President who saved the Republic and reinstituted the Constitution is with every American standing behind him; red, yellow, black, white, cowboy hippy, rebel, yank, middle class and poor.

Ron Paul knows this is a country of plenty and that that plenty is being stolen by a handful of international gangsters.  He is a true statesman and knows how to solve our problems and this American 99er is going to back him 100%

God bless this Republic, death to the international corporate mafia, we shall prevail.

  3. ATTN : HENRY SHIVLEY. CAN YOU SUE???
THERE ARE ALOT OF THINGS BEING SAID ABOUT YOU ON THE WEBSIE “DAILYNEWSPULSE.COM” UNDER THE TOPIC (99ers Are Becoming Their Own Majority: Will There Be Relief) THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT TAKING THIS SITE DOWN

    1. Just visited dailynewspulse.com and they are definitly trashing Henry and the 99ers. These people are clueless. Sounds like Henry struck a nerve. Good job Henry and keep up the good work.

    2. Stanley, I think it is laughable that the trolls have to go to another site to dis on me. In fact I consider their attention a compliment.
By the way, the third paragraph in that article was taken out of one of my articles, “99ers HR 589 Supporters, Henry Gets an Unemployment Extension,”
No, I don’t want to sue anybody, but I am going to file a complaint with Google as that site continues to plagiarize our work from From the Trenches. Maybe that will make those good law abiding citizens happy.

  4. AP) WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama’s approval rating has hit its highest point in two years – 60 percent – and more than half of Americans now say he deserves to be re-elected, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll taken after U.S. forces killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

In worrisome signs for Republicans, the president’s standing improved not just on foreign policy but also on the economy, and independent Americans a key voting bloc in the November 2012 presidential election caused the overall uptick in support by sliding back to Obama after fleeing for much of the past two years.

Comfortable majorities of the public now call Obama a strong leader who will keep America safe. Nearly three-fourths – 73 percent – also now say they are confident that Obama can effectively handle terrorist threats. And he improved his standing on Afghanistan, Iraq and the United States’ relationships with other countries.

Despite a sluggish recovery from the Great Recession, 52 percent of Americans now approve of Obama’s stewardship of the economy, giving him his best rating on that issue since the early days of his presidency; 52 percent also now like how he’s handling the nation’s stubbornly high 9 percent unemployment.

The economy remains Americans’ top issue.

Impressions of the nation’s fiscal outlook have improved following last Friday’s positive jobs report, which showed American companies are on a hiring spree. More people now say that the economy got better in the past month and that it’s likely to continue doing so in the coming year.

Also, more Americans 45 percent, up from 35 percent in March say the country is headed in the right direction; still about half

52 percent say it’s on the wrong track, meaning Obama still has work to do to convince a restive public to stay with the status quo.

Some have seen enough to know they’ll stick with him.

“I was happy about bin Laden,” says Brenda Veckov, 42, of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. “I put my fists in the air. To me, it was just a little bit of closure for the United States.”

“The president made the right decisions on this one. And I will vote for him again.”

Not everyone has such an optimistic view of Obama.

“I’m very concerned” about the country, says 56-year-old Susan Demarest in Snellville, Georgia, who didn’t support the Democrat last time and won’t this time. “I’m in my 50s and I worry that I’m not going to be able to retire at a reasonable age and enjoy the end of my life because of Medicare and Social Security and the debt of the country.” Still, she says Obama doesn’t carry all of the blame.

Obama’s overall political boost comes at an important time. He is embarking on his re-election campaign and is in the early days of a debate with Republicans who control the House of Representatives over raising the country’s debt limit. But it’s unclear how long Obama’s strengthened standing will last in the aftermath of bin Laden’s death.

Americans say they overwhelmingly approve of the military’s handling of the risky nighttime mission in Abbottabad, Pakistan. But it hasn’t changed public opinion on the war in Afghanistan; most still are opposed to it, and a big majority favors Obama’s plan to withdraw all combat troops by 2014.

Overall, Obama’s approval rating is up slightly from 53 percent in March and a 47 percent low point following last fall’s midterm congressional elections in which Republicans won control of the House and gained seats in the Senate. It was 64 percent in May 2009, just months after he was sworn into office.

Also, 53 percent now say he deserves to be re-elected; 43 percent say he should be fired, making it the first time in an AP-GfK poll that more people say he should get a second term than not.

“I have the impression that Barack Obama works really hard for Americans and that I see his leadership as something that should be continued,” says independent voter Allison Kaplan, 25, in Austin, Texas, who voted for Obama in 2008. She praises the administration for handling bin Laden’s raid well “the way that it happened was the correct way” and it reinforced her support of the president.

Nearly two-thirds of Americans who call themselves political independents now approve of him; only about half did in March. They were critical to Obama’s 2008 victory but many had fled as his administration increased government spending and passed a sweeping health care overhaul. They could just as easily turn away again between now and next fall.

Bryan Noonan, 23, of Hampstead, New Hampshire, is one of those independents. He backed Obama in 2008 and is likely to vote for the president again, given the other options.

“I haven’t been real impressed by the Republicans,” he says. He doesn’t hold Obama accountable for the sluggish economy or rising gas prices, issues Noonan says seem “out of his hands. It’s not like there’s a magic solution.”

Noonan likes Obama’s foreign policies and applauds the killing of bin Laden, saying: “I was pretty much relieved, happy to hear that we got him. The president absolutely deserves credit.”

The Associated Press-GfK Poll was conducted May 5-9 by GfK Roper Public Affairs and Corporate Communications. It involved landline and cellphone interviews with 1,001 adults nationwide and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.

    1. Informer,

Thank you for a totally boring and completely useless post. Are you a robot? You sure sound like one. If not how was the lobotomy? Not too painful? That’s nice.

  5. Henry you should feel flattered that some dipshit can’t think for himself and plagiarizes the work from From the Trench.

  6. Done letting these people who were responsible for the job lost to continue to hold my future in their hands. No jobs have been created and prices of everything going up. You can thank the Government for another 99er taking their life. I’m done. I can’t support my family and have sold every that I have. My kids are starving and I can’t deal with it anymore. See you all in heaven. I will be looking over each and everyone of you in the same situation. Let’s just pray that there is such a thing as angels and an after life.

    1. tired of the politics-

I pray you don’t mean that. Hang on, and go yo your local church and ask for help. Don’t do that to your family.

      1. Oh, shit, Mark !! Last time somebody said that on here, they went and did it. Tired !! Don’t even contemplate such foolishness. If you do, then these rich asshole just score one more point. Nothing is more precious than life, no matter how bad the circumstances. With all due respect, suicide ain’t gonna get you in Heaven. Think about it. Long and hard. Don’t despair. Get mad ! It’s not your fault. We are all in this together, so pleas, stay with us.

    2. Tired,

I feel the same way as you, I have been keeping tabs and nearly 1000 Americans have committed suicide due to these issues, its been something I have considered as well, but then I step back, get angry and tell myself ” I WILL NOT LET THEM WIN ” I then call every congressman I can think of and unleash an angry tirade of FACT, closing my statement with ” from now on each one of these suicides are on your head ”

I urge friends and family in the same boat as us to do the same, allowing the ones with no other means access to my meager and dwindling resources to make it happen, call them, tell them of the people whom have taken their own lives and how HR589 might have prevented it, or perhaps the Stanebow(sp) bill.

a very cherished friend of mine took her own life due to this inaction, it has devastated her family and her friends, no matter how much better you think your family might be without you, you’re wrong, they will just be that much worse. seeing the torment on her families face is what made me change my mind, what fired me back up and what keeps me doing everything I can

Please, for the sake of your family…reconsider as well, stay in the fight!

      1. A Cry Unheard,
Good comment! As you said: “no matter how much better you think your family might be without you, you’re wrong, they will just be that much worse. seeing the torment on her families face is what made me change my mind, what fired me back up and what keeps me doing everything I can”

Perhaps we should give more focused attention to this issue.

        1. This is what I have been doing, scouring local and national local news sources ( like community papers and independents, police blotters etc ) for reputable information, then spending as much time and resources as I can faxing/emailing/calling Rep Camp/Boehner/Cantor/Lee my reps and senators and just about anyone one else I can think of, it sickens me that it has come to this though, I feel like I am using ” their ” tactics, but we need this lifeline, we need to say ” NO I WON’T ” one more time then they can tell us ” YOU WILL BE HAPPY FOR SCRAPS WE THROW “

    3. Tired of the Politics,
Do not do it as this is exactly what they want. Our enemies will laugh as your family and friends cry. If a thousand Americans died as a result of something like a train derailment caused by a foreign terrorist, our country would spend $2 trillion blowing their country up and rebuilding it. And of course killing hundreds of thousands of innocents that had nothing to do with the act.
But when the terrorists in our government cause the death of a thousand of our citizens that have worked and paid into our system all of their lives, it goes unreported and virtually unnoticed.
We must make them pay for what they have done to us. We cannot do that if we are dead. We must live literally to spite them and show them that when they singled us out they chose the wrong Americans. Remember the American way, never say die.

  7. TO: TIRED OF THE POLITICS
JESUS LOVES YOU HE DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SINS. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE . WE ARE WITH YOU. THERE WILL BE A NEW DAY AND THE SUN WILL RISE A NEW. APPLY FOR FOOD STAMPS AND HOUSING BECAUSE YOU ARE AN AMERICAN WHO NEEDS ASSISTANCE. WE HAVE 18 MORE MONTHS OF THIS GARBAGE. VOTE OUT ALL THE BUMS REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS. ESPECIALLY THE BIG EARED IDIOT RAT BUM OBAMA. YOU REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN YOU STOOD UP IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND STARTED OFF THE DAY BY PLEDGING ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG. WELL YOU WERE BORN IN “MAINAND AMERICA” NOT CONCEIVED IN INDONESIA AND FLOWN TO HAWAII TO BE BORN. GET THE BENEFITS YOU DESERVE AS AN AMERICAN AND HANG ON 18 MONTHS LIKE THE REST OF US BECAUSE HE WILL BE VOTED OUT.

  8. This will not happen on my watch and when I say “my watch” I mean “our watch”. Everyday I’m saddened by the posts!! Please write in Mario Davis on your ballot 2012.

We need a leader who is willing to stand up not only for the rich but for the poor!

We need a leader who will create jobs!

Wake up and smell the roses before it’s too late and loves all gone!

Together we can put an end to the theory of “its more profitable to treat it then just cure it mentality”

    Mario Davis 4 President 2012

  9. I will represent the Non-Partisan affiliation. Please write in Mario Davis on your ballot 2012. I will put America back in your hands as what good is a Constitution if we aren’t truly abiding by what is written therein. “Life, Liberty, and Justice for All”

  10. NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Former Sen. Fred Thompson of Tennessee has been named a co-champion of the nonpartisan National Popular Vote campaign.

The project is promoting reform of the Electoral College by stressing popular votes instead of the winner-takes-all system according to state.

Thompson, who also ran briefly for the Republican nomination for president in 2008, said the campaign is consistent with the country’s constitutional principles.

Joining Thompson as co-champions are former Govs. Chet Culver of Iowa and Jim Edgar of Illinois, both Republicans. Thompson also is an actor.

  11. Please hang on! We have to prove that we are strong enough to turn this around ourselves. I too feel like eliminating myself sometimes. But you know what, once you do that there are no other options. Is this the end that you envisioned for yourself? I don’t believe so. My nephew took his own life when he was only 19, it is our family’s greates tragedy. I often wondered what he would’ve been like had he lived. Death eliminates hope and options. It is the end of the story period. The possibility of ever winning is OVER! I feel deep sorrow for those who have killed themselves. Don’t let these bastards in office make you want to take your precious life. You will hurt your family and friends NOT THEM!

  12. Henry,
You’re definitely pissing some people off.

If you keep this up maybe the main stream news media might get wind of the controversy and cover the views on your site.

I really liked the part about, if the politicians followed the Constitution there would be no need for unions. I once worked for a company without a union that treated employees fairly, it even had a grievance system and every one was happy until the owners had to sell out to a larger corporation and everything went downhill form there!

Don’t worry about what they say about you just as long as they keep talking we know someone’s listening!

    What is it they say!
I don’t care what they write about me, just as long as they spell my name right!

Keep it up Henry, you know there are more people for you than against you!

  13. We surely don’t need any actors running for President in 2012 or former Politicians as what is their ultimate motive. “What is my ultimate motive some might ask”.

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? I will stand up for Your Voice, With my declaring please understand that this is not just about me as Timothy 6:10 states For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. I’m not in this election for a paycheck, I’m running for Equality, for the opportunity that your children will have a life that offers a window of hope and opportunity as I’m fighting this fight for LOVE, I’m running for “Life, Liberty, and justice for All”.

We together can fix this. Let us begin to hold ourselves accountable and come election time let us begin to make a new way of understanding who the true heroes are within these great United States of America.

We need someone who is true with his intentions, someone who has everything to lose like myself and everything to gain for the people of the great nation. I’m standing up for the people and I will bring Justice and Honor back to the system in every facet imaginable.

We can win this election and then begin to focus our efforts on ensuring that no citizen is left behind due to any factors such as age, discrimination, etc… We all have a right to being productive however nothing comes easy and nothing will just be given upon you or I. If you want to become a doctor you will have to create your path. If you want to own a house you will have to create your path. If you want to live in the light, today begin walking towards it.

There is a song by a band called Faith No More which sings, “You want it all but you can’t have it, it’s in your face but you can’t grab it”

If we truly come together we can perform miracles.

    Mario Davis 4 President 2012

  14. To 99ers and anyone that can help, please read the following!
I have a suggestion since we can’t get the main stream media news programs to broadcast our critical unemployment situation referred to as 99ers, why don’t we flood the internet with our plight? Our biggest problem is the lack of media attention. Since we don’t have the transportation money to march on anywhere, Washington D C, our State Capitols our City Halls or even our local Unemployment Offices. On a daily basis I suggest we flood the internet with a simple message. If someone can word this better than I, any suggestions are welcome.
**Please excuse this desperate interruption to your comments. For over a year, millions of Americans called 99ers have gone without any income or jobs, because none are available. We are not being covered by the news stations. We need your support! We need Jobs or help not welfare. For more information please Google “99ers” “Tier V”.**
**“Wikipedia says” “99ers is a colloquial term for unemployed people in the United States, mostly citizens, who have exhausted all of their unemployment benefits, including all unemployment extensions”. We need your help and support because The President, The Senate, Congress and the News Media have ignored suffering Americans with families and no means of support. We are becoming, homeless, destitute, suicidal and plain desperate. We need the help and support of every American to support our cause until jobs become available.**
Insert this message in every comment area of every story on the internet at least once.
We should abide by some rules; please don’t repeat it over and over in the same story this would be annoying. Don’t use caps, this is also annoying. No profanity. This is not annoying it’s just rude. If a comment area only holds a few characters then only use the 1st paragraph. Or as much of it as possible!
This may be just annoying enough to get the mass media attention we need from the main stream media news stations. Consider it a non violent demonstration using the media that’s currently available to us without requiring any money.
Your comments on this matter will be greatly appreciated. Even the negative ones!
