Fox NationThoughts on Hunters, this is an interesting slant on things. The world’s largest army; America’s hunters! I had never thought about this, but a blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:
There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin. Allow me to restate that number: 600,000. Over the last several months, Wisconsin’s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world: more men in arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined. These men and women deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.
That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan’s 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home safely. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It’s millions more.
The point? America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower. Hunting, it’s not just a way to fill the freezer; it’s a matter of national security. That’s why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. Food for thought, when next we consider gun control.
Overall it’s true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don’t possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain, what army of 2 million would want to face 30, 40, 50 million armed citizens? For the sake of our freedom, don’t ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns.

I heard (or read, actually), there there were 16 million deer hunting licenses issued in America last year, and that that number is bigger than the world’s five largest armies combined.
And that doesn`t even count all of te so called felons .
nor does it count the ones who buy what they want, when they want, without any paperwork. if ya know what i mean. 🙂

Ammo is not so tough if you really want to procure some. Grantyed you don’t live in one of the wholly retarded states that do not allow mail shipments.

Thanks for the website Cynicles. I checked for their 22LR, and the cheapest was Cabela’s at 12 cents a round. We picked up a box of 525 rounds at Bass Pro for $25, that is 0.048 cents a round!! We are finding ammo is not as scarce as it was.

Exactly for now…. How long until there is another shortage! When we at Bass Pro, there was a young yuppie couple and he was just getting started in reloading, and he didn’t understand why there were no supplies hardly at all. Bulldog told him, when ammo is in short supply so is reloading equipment!
Unfortunately, a large majority of the citizens and hunters are brain washed lock,stock and barrel by the flag waving cult. This leaves us severly vulnerable to enemies domestic. We need to keep up the fight to educate our countrymen to the fact that Statism is not Patriotism.
Which leads me to believe that the only way the elite can destroy us internally and quickly as possible would be to detonate either an EMP or a nuke in 3 or 4 major cities at once. Gun confiscation and gun control just won’t cut it no matter how you look at it and We the people will NOT submit to it. The only alternatives are those two options. Stay vigilant.

You are correct. They have to know that taking us on would be suicide for them unless they make most people need them. They could also collapse the economy. Then all the people who didn’t plan ahead will be begging them for help.
