The US Army is buying thousands of a new rifle that Marine and special-operations snipers also want — the Mk 22 Multi-Role Adaptive Design (MRAD) rifle.
The service awarded Barrett Firearms Manufacturing in Tennessee a five-year $49.9 million contract for 2,800 MRAD sniper rifles under the Precision Sniper Rifle program, which also includes the Leupold & Stevens Mark 5 HD scope and sniper-accessory kit, the Army said Wednesday. At least eight people died on Monday in a head-on collision between two vehicles during a police chase, Texas officials said.
Texas Department of Public Safety officials said the crash occurred Monday afternoon when DPS troopers were pursuing a red Dodge pickup truck and it crashed head-on into a white Ford F-150 that was driving on the highway, KSAT reported. Today I’m going to show you how to make a Dutch oven stand cheap! My awesome brother-in-law, Duane S. made this Dutch oven stand for Mark and me about 25-30 years ago. It is the perfect solution for cooking with Dutch ovens, or even roasting marshmallows. I can add a grill to the top and grill some hamburgers or hotdogs.
Here’s the deal, I like being able to use this Dutch oven stand to cook meals with every one of my Dutch ovens (all different sizes). JACKSON, S.C. – A South Carolina armed home invader who attacked a 79-year-old woman near her back door is dead after the victim’s 82-year-old Vietnam War veteran husband beat him down with the butt end of a shotgun earlier this week, according to local authorities.
Herbert Parrish snatched the firearm off a wall mount after the suspect, identified as 61-year-old Harold Runnels, broke into the home with a knife, knocked his wife to the ground and slashed her forehead Monday afternoon, Columbia, S.C.-based FOX 57 reported. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota investigators were skeptical that South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg didn’t know he fatally struck a pedestrian on the night of Sept. 12, 2020.
According to video footage from two separate interviews between investigators and Ravnsborg, made public Tuesday by the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, authorities found the reading glasses of Joe Boever inside the Ford Taurus that killed him.
