This blog’s readership consists mostly of Patriots and Preppers. This growing subsection of America is the entire reason this blog exists, and I’m here to advise and enable better security for your communities and homesteads. If there were just three steps you could take this week to improve your intelligence and security, this is what I’d recommend. Continue reading “Three Steps to Improving Prepper Intelligence”
Jared and Amanda Miller finally gave the feds the excuse they were looking for to put all of us “domestic terrorists” on notice. It was bound to happen wasn’t it? And now the post I made only yesterday asks the question of today. Do we have the ability, as a movement, to stomach the sort of thing the Millers did and still stand by our previous statements? Who knows if they were white supremacists, how can anyone know for sure? They draped the cops body with a Swastika, does that say something about them, or the cops? Who are the Nazis in this scenario?Continue reading “The Miller Dilemma”

Andre Rivera faces weapons, assault and child neglect charges after Tampa police say he beat up a man on Kennedy Blvd., threatened to shoot five other people, and waved his gun out of his window as he drove from Armenia to Ybor City.
An armed man and woman shouting about a “revolution” opened fire and killed two Las Vegas policemen who were eating lunch in a pizza parlor on Sunday, then fatally shot a civilian in a nearby Wal-Mart store before killing themselves, police said.
A California family says that a call to 911 to get medical assistance for an 18-year-old family member with special needs ended in tragedy when police showed up instead and killed her.
HOUSTON, Texas–Armed members of the activist group Open Carry Texas (OCT) were asked to leave Sonic and Chili’s restaurants last month after they entered with AK-47’s in full display. In response to footage of the events, which received national press coverage, the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) released a statement on May 30 calling the demonstrations “downright weird” and “counter productive for the gun owning community.” Now Texas gun group members are threatening to leave the NRA.
“I’m leaving the NRA,” C.J. Grisham, President of OCT, told Breitbart Texas. “I’m an Endowment Life Member which is two levels above Life Member–I’m tearing up the cards and certificates I’ve gotten from the NRA.” Continue reading “Open Carry Texas’ President: ‘I’m Leaving The NRA’”
Last week, Kahr Firearms Group began their move out of New York and away from the SAFE Act by breaking ground for a new factory in Pike County, Pennsylvania.
Their plan to relocate includes “headquarters… research… and assembly,” and is expected to take five years.
On May 30 the National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) released a statement on the open carry demonstrations that have been recently carried out in Chipotle, Jack in the Box, Chili’s, and Sonic restaurants in Texas.
These are the demonstrations where members of Open Carry Texas (OCT) legally carry AR-15s and AK-47s into restaurants as part of their bid to see the open carry of handguns legalized in the Lone Star State. The NRA-ILA described the demonstrations as “downright weird” and “counter productive for the gun owning community.” Continue reading “NRA Chides ‘Open Carry Texas’ Over Carrying Ak-47s Into Restaurants”
A Massachusetts gun store owner says it’s “too late” for a bank to mend a relationship that it broke.
Mark Cohen, who owns Powderhorn Outfitters, a Hyannis, Mass. gun retailer, said that his longtime bank, TD Bank, refused to extend a line of credit because of the business he is in.
The past few weeks have been a time of serious re-evaluation. One might only endure a certain amount of outrage before the term loses its meaning; before the outrage becomes merely rage with no means of expression that will not move that line of demarcation between action and consequence to the fore.
I have not revealed my philosophy concerning the coming counter-revolution in the past simply because it would classify me as one thing or another. People always draw the wrong conclusions. They leap headlong into a definition that suits their opinions and always to the detriment of actual understanding. Karl Popper, an Austrian philosopher and economics professor said a few things that strike me as true, one of them is the statement: Always remember that it is impossible to speak in such a way that you cannot be misunderstood. The other is this: You can choose whatever name you like for the two types of government. I personally call the type of government which can be removed without violence Democracy and the other Tyranny.Continue reading “Retribution”
The story of the Clark County, Nevada cattle-ranchers and their eviction by the federal government in order to protect the Mojave desert tortoise is a classic tale of the federal government’s insidious efforts to target those out of favor with its leftist agenda.
The tale began with the 1989 decision by the federal government to declare the Mojave desert tortoise an endangered species. At the time, there were 50 cattle-ranching families in Nevada’s Clark County. The federal government asserted that livestock grazing destroyed desert tortoise populations, largely because cattle ate the grasses and spring growth of cacti, which the tortoises also ate. Yet in 1994, the federal government admitted in its Desert Tortoise Recovery Plan that the “extremely controversial” question of whether that assertion was true was not settled. Continue reading “Mojave Ranchers Wiped out for Tortoise”
As more information comes in regarding the release of American POW Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for five, high-level Taliban prisoners from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, facts surrounding his capture and the many rescue attempts his fellow soldiers participated in are still murky, at best.
After announcing it would comply with a federal court order, the Obama administration has decided that it wants to conceal more portions of a controversial memo authorizing the assassination of Americans overseas.
Requirements: Rifle and or Pistol, glass / cup preferably a mug with a vertical handle, water.
Firing on the move can be broken down into smaller technical sections i.e. target identification, firing, moving, situational awareness, and reloading. Below we will focus on the movement portion of firing on the move.
