Most churches in America have organized as “501c3 tax-exempt religious organizations.” This is a fairly recent trend that has only been going on for about fifty years. Churches were only added to section 501c3 of the tax code in 1954. We can thank Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson for that. Johnson was no ally of the church. As part of his political agenda, Johnson had it in mind to silence the church and eliminate the significant influence the church had always had on shaping “public policy.”

Although Johnson proffered this as a “favor” to churches, the favor also came with strings attached (more like shackles). One need not look far to see the devastating effects 501c3 acceptance has had to the church, and the consequent restrictions placed upon any 501c3 church. 501c3 churches are prohibited from addressing, in any tangible way, the vital issues of the day.   Continue reading “501c3 Facts”

In May, Lorenzo Alonso Romero, 24, ran over three women in Laredo, Texas, because he was “upset with women in general.” Police have only now released the motivation for the attacks.

A criminal complaint stated, “Lorenzo indicated that he was upset over the fact that approximately two years ago, his neighbor had filed a report against him, in which he was arrested for an aggravated assault, claiming the allegations to have been false… He stated he was just upset with women in general and was taking out his frustration on random women he would encounter.”   Continue reading “Multiple Deportee Ran Over 3 Women Because He Was ‘Upset With Women’”

The mosquito was never going to win any popularity contests, but as the “deadliest animal in the world” spreads the Zika virus, it’s become the target of tough talk and powerful pesticides.

“The mosquito kills more people than any other animal on earth,” Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, this week. “Is there any redeeming feature? … Well, they do provide food for birds and other insects, but I think the world would be a lot better off without them.”

If Americans Knew is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the foreign policy of the United States regarding the Middle East, offering analysis of American media coverage of these issues. The group’s website declares its aim is to provide “what every American needs to know about Israel/Palestine.”[1] The site is generally critical of U.S. financial and military support of Israel. It has accused The New York Times and other mainstream news organizations of being biased against Palestinians.[2][3][4][5]

Please be aware that what you are about to read will be very difficult to digest. All our life we have been living under a lie to keep us enslaved. The truth is now known. The problem is, what do we do now? Like you, I became aware of this same truth today and I don’t where to go from here.

I learned judges in California are not “public officials”  I wanted to know why, if they are elected by the people.

Now I know why, and so will you after reading this information.   Continue reading “U.S. Under Martial Law Since The Civil War”

Roman Civilization – CMS 206 /History 206

During the monarchical period of Roman history, the king was responsible for the state’s public religious activity. According to Livy, when the Romans ejected the kings they created an priesthood called the rex sacrorum – “king of rites.” The holder of this priesthood would continue to perform the religious duties of the former monarchs, but was explicitly barred from holding any political office and from sitting in the Senate (so he couldn’t leverage his religious authority into political power and become a tyrant). Livy also suggests that the founders of the republic deliberately subordinated the religious authority of the rex sacrorum to that of the pontifex maximus to further guard against tyranny. Whether this was true, or whether the pontifex came gradually to replace the rex in authority, is one of the questions that can’t be answered (but scholars keep writing about). In any event, Roman religious affairs under the republic were conducted by a variety of priests organized by the kinds of rituals they performed. Unlike political offices, priesthoods tended to be lifelong appointments.   Continue reading “Roman Public Religion”

Reverse mortgages, a lifeline for seniors struggling to pay bills in allowing them to turn home equity into cash, are entering into foreclosure at an “alarming” rate, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray said Wednesday.
