Firing an AK-47 semiautomatic pistol through an opening in the door to his south side flat, suspected gun dealer Jordan P. Fricke killed Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew Rittner with a shot that pierced his aorta and both lungs, a criminal complaint filed Sunday said.
Fricke fired the Serbian-made weapon through the hole — opened by Rittner with a battering ram — despite officers repeatedly yelling “Police!” and “Search warrant!” the complaint said. An off-duty police officer was accidentally shot and killed by another officer in St. Louis early Thursday morning, authorities said.
The accidental shooting occurred around 1 a.m. local time after two off-duty officers stopped by one of their homes during their shift. Officer Katlyn Alix, who was off-duty at the time, came by the residence and was shot in the chest, St. Louis Police Chief John Hayden Jr. told reporters at a press conference. American Airlines booted a family of three from their flight home after passengers allegedly complained about the group’s body odor.
On Wednesday evening, Yossi and Jennie Adler and their 19-month-old daughter were told to get off their plane from Miami to Detroit while they were in the midst of boarding. “All of a sudden, as soon as they took us off, they closed the gate and then they said, ‘Sorry, sir, some people complained you had body odor and we’re not letting you back on,’” Adler told local Florida station WPLG. A Cleveland hospital has fired a resident after anti-Semitic comments and threats to give the Jewish people “the wrong meds” surfaced on social media.

A new video service called Cameo was launched in April 2018 with the intent of allowing celebrities to record short, personalized videos for fans. The service includes a stable of athletes with a wide range of varying relevance, all of whom you can hear say your name in exchange for a quick payment.
Those videos could be something like a personal greeting, a birthday shout-out or a holiday celebration. Apparently, they could also be a assortment of coded, anti-semitic language meant to validate white supremacists. Hundreds of thousands of Americans with unpaid tax debts will not be able to apply for or renew passports until their debts are settled, as federal officials step up enforcement of a law passed by Congress in 2015.

The White House has fired back after MSNBC host Joe Scarborough compared the Trump administration’s approach to undocumented immigrants crossing the U.S. border to the Nazis’ treatment of Jewish families.

A Florida middle school social studies teacher was removed from the classroom while her school district investigates a HuffPost report that she hosted a white supremacist podcast under a pseudonym, shared anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and suggested that Muslims be eradicated from the planet.
