Firing an AK-47 semiautomatic pistol through an opening in the door to his south side flat, suspected gun dealer Jordan P. Fricke killed Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew Rittner with a shot that pierced his aorta and both lungs, a criminal complaint filed Sunday said.

Fricke fired the Serbian-made weapon through the hole — opened by Rittner with a battering ram — despite officers repeatedly yelling “Police!” and “Search warrant!” the complaint said. An off-duty police officer was accidentally shot and killed by another officer in St. Louis early Thursday morning, authorities said.

The accidental shooting occurred around 1 a.m. local time after two off-duty officers stopped by one of their homes during their shift. American Airlines booted a family of three from their flight home after passengers allegedly complained about the group’s body odor.

A new video service called Cameo was launched in April 2018 with the intent of allowing celebrities to record short, personalized videos for fans. The service includes a stable of athletes with a wide range of varying relevance, all of whom you can hear say your name in exchange for a quick payment.

Those videos could be something like a personal greeting, a birthday shout-out or a holiday celebration. Hundreds of thousands of Americans with unpaid tax debts will not be able to apply for or renew passports until their debts are settled, as federal officials step up enforcement of a law passed by Congress in 2015.
