Multiple West Virginia schools closed after sending hundreds of poisoned students home, some vomiting and dizzy, and at least child to the hospital this week, but officials lifted the pregnant women water warning. After nearly a month of at least 300,000 West Virginians’ daily exposure to dangerous chemicals, media continues reporting a ”smell” is making people, instead of the reality that a poison is injuring and sickening people.
A mystery coal industry poison, a toxic brew including but not limited to MCHM and PHh, that smells like licorice, poisoned so many children and youth ill in Kanawha County, five schools closed this week. Editor’s Note: You’ve stocked your pantry. You’ve prepared your supplies and reserves at off-site locations. You’ve developed skills like shooting, food production and trauma care. More than 720,000 customers are without power in eastern and central Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning as a messy mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain from Winter Storm Nika hit the state.
Freezing rain accumulated an estimated one-quarter to one-third of an inch in the Philadelphia and Trenton, N.J. metro areas. Driving conditions are bad in many areas. I just want to give you all a heads up!
My debit card information was stolen. They started to use my card yesterday. They only got two charges through and it threw up a red flag and the fraud division of my bank put a hold on my card! The stores that the thieves shopped at and were successful were web hosting and Dr. Jays. When they purchased at Dr. Jays, the transaction was from New York and that threw the red flag. They tried to charge $1019 at Best Buy, another $300 something at Best Buy, another $300 something at NBA.com, another $300 something at Dr. Jays, and several other small ones that I can’t remember. When the “impartial” Congressional Budget Office first attempted to predict the impact on the US labor force as a result of the administration healthcare ponzi scheme, also known affectionately as Obamacare and less affectionately by other names, it estimated that 800,000 Americans would drop out of the labor force by 2021. Moments ago it just revised that projection, admitting that it was off by the usual 100% or so: the hit to the US labor force due to Obamacare is now estimated to soar to 2.3 million through 2021, and furthermore the CBO just admitted that the enrollment rate will be dramatically below the White House’s baseline estimates, with 2 million fewer people signing up this year than previously estimated. A dashcam records a life-flashing-before-the-eyes moment as two tractor-trailers approach what appears destined to be a head-on collision on a snowy Ontario, Canada highway.
Driving along Highway 11 north of Nipigon, which is about 90 minutes north of Thunder Bay, the driver of the tractor-trailer with the dashcam notices another tractor-trailer attempting to pass a slow-moving snow plow…and is headed straight for him. Big Oil Is Gaming the System to Raise Domestic U.S. Prices
Bloomberg notes:
Completion of the entire [Keystone] pipeline would raise prices at the pump in the Midwest and Rocky Mountains 10 to 20 cents a gallon, Verleger, the Colorado consultant, said in an e-mail message.The higher crude prices also would erase the discount enjoyed by cities including Chicago, Cheyenne and Denver, Verleger said. Thoughts on Hunters, this is an interesting slant on things. The world’s largest army; America’s hunters! I had never thought about this, but a blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:
There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin. Allow me to restate that number: 600,000. Over the last several months, Wisconsin’s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world: more men in arms than in Iran. More than France and Germany combined.
