Faberge and Benson is the largest law firm in Minneapolis. Other than politicians and the media, there is no other force in our society that is hated more and trusted less than the big banks. Between the bailouts that followed the crash of 2008, and the wealth confiscations that occurred in Cyprus a few years later, it’s become abundantly clear to everyone that the banks are run by criminals, and you can’t trust them to hold onto your savings.   Continue reading “NY Couple Loses $25k Because Their Bank Doesn’t Keep Records”

Israel and Turkey have reached an agreement to normalize ties, a senior Israeli official told reporters, according to Reuters. This will end bitter rift over the Israeli Navy’s killing of nine Turkish citizens during a Gaza flotilla raid in 2010.

The agreement, which took three years to reach, is expected to be officially announced on Monday, said the official traveling with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is currently in Rome.   Continue reading “Israel, Turkey reach agreement to normalize ties – Israeli official”

LA JUNTA — A jury in southeast Colorado convicted a former Rocky Ford police officer Thursday of second-degree murder for shooting a man he followed into a home.

Jurors deliberated for about 11 hours Wednesday and Thursday before finding James Ashby, 33, guilty in the Oct. 12, 2014, death of Jack Jacquez, 27. Ashby is the first Colorado police officer to face charges for an on-duty shooting in more than 20 years.

A special United Nations commission on critical medicines—that is, everything from simple ibuprofen to the lifesaving drug cocktail to treat HIV, is expected to release within days a long-awaited report about how the global community might best alleviate barriers to access to medicine in the developing world.

It’s estimated that upwards of 2 billion people across the globe lack access to critical medicines. But the UN report won’t bring those people any closer to accessing those drugs, because, as I write in a new column for Real Clear, we know exactly the non-starter it will propose: erase intellectual property in health care:   Continue reading “U.N. Set To Erode Drug Patent Rights”

The FBI once again appears to have averted a terrorist plot of its own manufacture by arresting 57-year-old William Keebler, a man from Stockton, Utah described in press accounts as a militia organizer exhibiting an “extreme hatred” for the federal government. A vociferous critic of the federal Bureau of Land Management who was present during the April 2014 standoff in Bunkerville, Nevada, Keebler was a close friend of the late LaVoy Finicum. FBI agents arrested  Keebler in Nephi, Utah Wednesday morning after he allegedly attempted to bomb a vacant cabin owned by the BLM.   Continue reading “FBI Just Created and Foiled their Own Terrorist Plot to Demonize Those Who Question Government”

End of the American Dream – by Michael Snyder

We are watching what happens when the economy of a developed nation totally implodes.  Just a few years ago, Venezuela was the wealthiest nation in all of South America, and they still have more proven oil reserves than anyone else on the entire planet including Saudi Arabia.  But now people down there are so hungry and so desperate that some of them are actually hunting dogs, cats and pigeons for food.  Just a few days ago, I gave a talk down at Morningside during which I warned that someday we would see armed guards on food trucks in America.  After that talk was done, I went back up to my room and I came across a New York Times article which had been republished by MSN that explained that this exact thing is already happening down in Venezuela…   Continue reading “They Are Putting Armed Guards On Food Trucks In Venezuela”

President Barack Obama on Friday designated the site of a watershed event in the history of U.S. gay rights, the 1969 Stonewall riots in New York City, as a national monument, the first one to honor the contributions of gay Americans.

The Stonewall Inn gay bar in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village was the scene of a police raid that triggered riots and ignited a long struggle to bring lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people into the American mainstream and guarantee their rights.   Continue reading “Obama creates first U.S. monument to gay rights at New York site”

Alfred de Zayas, the U.N.’s Independent Expert on the Promotion of a Democratic and Equitable International Order, is assigned the task to apply the standards of international law to proposed treaties, to determine whether they’re in accord with international law. On Friday, June 24th, he issued his finding on three large proposed treaties regarding international trade among Atlantic countries: TTIP, TISA, and CETA. Earlier, on February 2nd, he had issued a similar finding on the proposed TPP treaty between Pacific countries, and his conclusion there was the same: that the proposed treaty violates international laws, and is inconsistent with democracy.    Continue reading “U.N.’s Legal Expert Calls Proposed Trade Deals Illegal”

In the wake of the Orlando nightclub massacre, politicians have attempted to use the tragedy as means of garnering public support for increased gun control measures. Four pieces of knee-jerk gun control legislation were defeated in Congress yesterday, but the debate surrounding gun rights continues unabated.

The new narrative is that “mass shootings,” defined by the FBI as 3 or more people killed in one incident, are at epidemic level and thus require society to increase restrictions on gun ownership as a means of saving lives and lowering the U.S. homicide rate.   Continue reading “Mass Shooting Myth — U.S. Homicide Rate Hits 51-year Low as Gun Ownership Increased 141%”

… our data directly contradicts some of the prevailing assumptions and the proposition that only a small group of rotten apples perpetrate the vast majority of police crime.

A new study tracking criminal activity perpetrated by police found, on average, three law enforcement officers are arrested each day — around 1,100 cops every year — and, more pointedly, this is not the case of a few rotten apples.   Continue reading “Study Shows Police Crime is Rampant — 3 Cops Arrested a Day, Over 1,100 Every Year”

As of now, artificial intelligence is nowhere near as aware or competent as a human. Heck, even the most powerful supercomputers lack the consciousness of a small animal. We don’t even know if computers are capable of achieving rudimentary consciousness. But that hasn’t stopped the European Union from proposing a law that would define robots as “electronic persons.”

A motion was recently proposed in the EU parliament that would ask the European Commission to consider “that at least the most sophisticated autonomous robots could be established as having the status of electronic persons with specific rights and obligations.” The reason for this idea however, has less to do with establishing rights for machines that may or may not become sentient someday, and more to do with money.   Continue reading “Asinine EU Wants To Redefine Robots As “Electronic Persons””

No wonder the MSM doesn’t mention Killary stealing the nomination in spite of tons of evidence piling up proving Bernie Sanders actually won. Fascist Big Business leaders and the Zionist neocons all back Hillary’s ascension to the  throne and that is who they serve, isn’t it?

While the corporate Dems finally found something they would take a stand on in the House of Representatives (unfortunately it’s an unconstitutional bill allowing for the creation of fascist blacklists which deprive citizens of their constitutional rights by arbitrary means that even the ACLU can’t support) the Killary campaign released a list of her Big Business backers who have openly endorsed the raving Queen of Scoop Jackson Dems.    Continue reading “Hillary Clinton Endorsed by Scores of Neocon Republicans and Globalist Business Leaders”

Washington D.C. — In another devastating blow to the 4th Amendment, on Monday, the Supreme Court ruled that evidence of an alleged crime can be used against a defendant even if police did something inappropriate or even illegal to obtain it.

In a split 5-3 decision, the justices voted to reinstate the drug-related convictions of Joseph Edward Strieff. In the case of Strieff, he was illegally detained during a “concededly unconstitutional detention,” which eventually led to the discovery of drugs inside his vehicle.   Continue reading “Supreme Court Rules Cops Can Break the Law to Enforce the Law”

Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- In the wake of the depraved terrorist attack on the innocent in Orlando last Saturday, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) is using the nation’s shock and horror to push for gun control in the U.S. Senate.

Feinstein, the author of the failed Clinton “assault weapons” ban and one of the more vehemently anti-gun Senators in history, is pushing an amendment to give the Attorney General (AG) broad new authority to deny gun sales to individuals without any due process protections in place.   Continue reading “Dianne Feinstein Presses for Gun Control in the Wake of Orlando Terrorist Attack”
