Gun Watch – by Dean Weingarten

The Richmond Police Department is trying an innovative approach to reduce violent crime.  Because the policy targets people who are not allowed to own guns, it might have positive effects.

David Kennedy has shown that most murders are committed by a very small group of violent individuals, usually associated with gangs and/or drug trafficking.  Identifying and focusing on those individuals has been shown to drastically reduce the murder rate.  One of the methods used to do this is to encourage people to turn in violent felons who illegally possess firearms.  Richmond Virginia has decided to run with this idea. Brooklyn, NY – An NYPD sergeant accidentally shot a plainclothes narcotics detective on Tuesday while firing at two unarmed suspects during a drug bust. Detective Jon Gladstone is the third NYPD officer shot by possible friendly fire this year.

Around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oscar Vera and Geraldo Rodriguez were sitting in a van parked in Brooklyn when they allegedly sold $80 of heroin to undercover cops. Shortly after the undercover cops left, plainclothes NYPD Detective Jon Gladstone and an unidentified police sergeant flanked the vehicle on both sides. According to NYPD First Deputy Commissioner Benjamin Tucker, Gladstone and his partner identified themselves as cops when the van suddenly went into reverse, crashing into a parked police car behind them.   Continue reading “While Trying to Kill 2 Unarmed Suspects, NYPD Cop Shoots His Fellow Officer”

We just got more evidence that global trade is absolutely imploding.  Chinese exports dropped 25.4 percent during the month of February compared to a year ago, and Chinese imports fell 13.8 percent compared to a year ago.  For Chinese exports, that was the worst decline that we have seen since 2009, and Chinese imports have now fallen for 16 months in a row on a year over year basis.  The last time we saw numbers like this, we were in the depths of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s.  China accounts for more global trade than any other nation (including the United States), and so this is a major red flag.  Anyone that is saying that the global economy is in “good shape” is clearly not paying attention.   Continue reading “Are You Kidding Me? Chinese Exports Plunge 25.4 Percent Compared To Last Year”

After LGBT protests targeted a private Catholic academy in Rhode Island for its policy against catering to crossdressing students, the school now says it is open to reversing its rules and making “reasonable accommodations” for children who want to be treated as members of the opposite sex.

According to the current school handbook, Mount Saint Charles Academy in Woonsocket “is unable to make accommodations for transgender students” and therefore “does not accept transgender students nor is MSC able to continue to enroll students who identify as transgender.”   Continue reading “LGBT Lobby Bullies Catholic School Into Accommodating Transgender Students”

It really is amazing what kind of people Americans allow to represent them in a particular fashion. The fact that Hillary Clinton has not yet been indicted is on the symptom of what America has become. Recently, Clinton decided that she would use a mixed bag of quotations from the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution in order to make a point for more gun control. As we’ll see, it doesn’t work out so well for the mentally challenged Saul Alinsky disciple.   Continue reading “Hillary Clinton’s Dishonest Anti-Gun Tirade Can’t Distinguish between the Constitution and Declaration of Independence”

A couple of years ago, the Denver Police Department (DPD) was under fire for a spate of excessive force complaints. They wanted to change their image, so they began a massive public relations campaign, ramping up spending from $599 in 2011 to $136,783 in 2013.

The “media affairs unit” is made up of very well-paid employees who push their message in social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Last year the DPD spent $450,000 on six employees in the media team, which is far more than six cops on the beat would make.   Continue reading “Denver PD Caught Stealing People’s Assets, Using Them to Pay for Massive Propaganda Campaign”

Dunwoody, GA — Police in the US possess a unique ability to raise money for their departments. Whenever times are rough, cops can simply take to the streets, enforce arbitrary traffic violations, and, voila — revenue generated — job security reinvigorated.

While many departments will go out and attempt to catch cars driving faster than the posted speed limit to collect revenue, departments nationwide are figuring out a far easier way to trap citizens in their web of extortion — crosswalks.   Continue reading “Watch an Undercover Police Extortion Operation in Action”
