(CNN) – A gunman carrying “a large amount of ammunition” and apparent makeshift explosives killed two workers at a busy Columbia, Maryland, mall before turning a shotgun on himself, police said.
A national newspaper chain never intended to create a multi-state database of gun owners with permits allowing them to carry concealed weapons according to its top executive, who told FoxNews.com a “poorly crafted” internal memo erroneously indicated such an idea was being planned.
The memo — sent by a top content editor to various editors at Civitas Media, which owns about 100 newspapers in 11 states, with 1.6 million in total circulation — laid out a plan for an enterprise project that would use public information requests to establish the database. But Civitas President and CEO Michael Bush, in an email after FoxNews.com reported the story on Friday, stated that the memo should not have been sent and that the notion of such a project had been “rejected” upon consideration. A North Korean central news anchorman said during a live broadcast: “We are very delighted to announce a successful mission to put a man on the sun. North Korea has beaten every other country in the world to the sun. Hung Il Gong is a hero and deserves a hero’s welcome when he returns home later this evening”. Hung is expected back on Earth in just a few hours time, where he will be greeted by his uncle, and supreme leader: Kim Jong-un. Hung travelled in the cover of darkness, as it would protect him from the harsh, and extreme temperatures of the Sun. Hung will also be bringing back some sun spot samples for his uncle, which I’m sure he will show off to the world in a short amount of time. Continue reading “North Korea Lands First Man On The Sun”
Many individuals have heard it a million times, but for the uninformed, or those just looking to fuel their 2014 fire to finally defeat Monsanto and their cronies, you’ll be interested to know that Monsanto’s Bt-toxin is far from ‘safe’ as the chemical company claimed it would be when filing their papers with the FDA. New research from Canada show that BT toxins are showing up in pregnant women, and low and behold – they are killing human embryo cells. 2014 is the year of the horse, but we’re not through beating this one to death. (MFNS) Washington – The president today took an important step, without congressional approval, in forwarding the agenda he set for his second term. Sighting a study by Manchester Metropolitan University on food safety, Obama ordered the FDA to extend the 5 second rule for food that has hit the floor.
“The government is to tackle food poverty by officially doubling the five allowable seconds for food dropped on the floor to ten seconds” Obama told a small group gathered at the White House. “The action could see millions of pounds worth of pizza slices, nachos and ice cream reclassified as edible”. For those of you who are regular visitors to the Tin Hat Ranch you know I don’t stray off into current events or politics too often. Well, if this doesn’t make you a little nervous.. Leon Panetta admitted the US has no way to track any North Korean missiles, that may be heading our way. What about all of that tracking and surveillance crap they use on us?
A clearly tired and emotional Panetta, 27, started to sob as he admitted to having small shortcomings, but the USA removed that bit from the broadcast. Commenting, Dear Leader Kim Jong Un warned the U.S. not to forget their disgrace and lesson from the Pueblo incident. History is often written to benefit certain groups over others.
Indeed, you will often find the blame for some of the worst events in history placed on the wrong individuals or factors. Most Americans today continue to argue over liberal vs. conservative beliefs, unaware that the vast majority of economy ills plaguing the country originate in neither party but in the Federal Reserve, which has debased the US Dollar by over 95% in the 20th century alone. Illinois is mulling a new medical marijuana law that would force pot users to sign away their right to bear arms.
Those who focus on the right to bear arms love to say, “what part of ‘shall not be infringed’ don’t you understand,” as a catch phrase to show that the founders did not want government to be able to sweep in and take away our rights to self defense. That phrase can be asked of Illinois legislators who are proposing that to get a medical marijuana permit citizens would have to relinquish their right to bear arms.
