They live their whole lives in that virtual simulation, without any way of knowing that what they appear to be experiencing with their senses is actually made of AI-generated code.   Continue reading “Society Is Made Of Narrative. Paul Welch is not a fascist. He is a liberal who voted for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary, and for Hillary Clinton in the general election. On August 4, he attended a far-right rally in Portland, Oregon, as a counterdemonstrator intent on signaling his opposition to the “tacitly fascist event,” he told The Oregonian.

Tell that to Antifa: One of the masked militants attacked Welch, striking him over and over again with some kind of metal rod concealed in black cloth. One blow landed on his head, which caused Welch to immediately crumple to the ground. He would eventually need four staples to close up the gaping wound.   Continue reading “This Liberal Carried an American Flag to Protest Fascism in Portland. However, this 66-year-old grandfather’s dedication to the community was of no consequence to police in South Fulton, Georgia who were seen on video violently attacking him this week.

Carey owns Carey’s Center for Mathematics which tutors children in the Atlanta area in math and has been operating for over 22 years. He has no criminal record.   Continue reading “Cop Body Slams Grandfather After He Asked Him to Stop Roughing Up a Young Girl”

The Vostok 2018 military exercise in eastern Russia was already billed as Russia’s largest war game since 1981. China’s Defense Ministry announced on Thursday it will send 3,200 troops from the People’s Liberation Army to join over 100,000 Russians in exercises from September 11 to 15.

The Chinese troops will bring at least 900 tanks and 30 aircraft with them. Donald Trump recently made it clear he will not accept any limitations on the U.S. military’s logistical support of the war in Yemen.

On August 13, Donald Trump did what every president does, every single year, without question – he signed the annual military budget bill, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2019. Some readers may recall that since 2011, the NDAA has included a provision which allows for indefinite detention of American citizens without a right to trial. Many of you may remember that President Obama had no problem signing the NDAA 2012 in 2011, which legalized the indefinite detention of American citizens suspected of ties to terrorism. The indefinite detention provision is still contained in the NDAA, and has been approved by Congress every year since it first passed.   Continue reading “Donald Trump’s Signing of the 2019 NDAA Will Lead to More Dead Yemeni Children”

Prisoners in 17 states across the country started a two-week strike Tuesday, calling for an end to “modern slavery.” Prisoners will abstain from going to work at their jobs, halt commissary spending, engage in sit-ins, and refuse to eat.

The main reason for the strike was an April prison riot at the Lee Correctional Institution in South Carolina that left seven inmates dead and a dozen more injured. The strike launched Tuesday was planned for next year, but following the violent incident, Lee prisoners wanted to take more immediate action.   Continue reading “American Inmates Stage Nationwide Prison Labor Strike over ‘Modern Slavery’”
