According to a report this year from the esteemed Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), fatal overdoses caused by prescription painkillers dropped dramatically in states where cannabis is legal for medical and recreational use.

Access to medical cannabis, according to the study, is responsible for an overall 25% drop in fatalities associated with prescription drugs taken for chronic pain.  The study also expects such fatalities to continue to drop as cannabis reform across the country allows more people to legally access the drug for medical purposes.   Continue reading “Study: Painkiller Overdose Deaths Decrease Dramatically In 420-Friendly States”

2014 has been one long year of economic yo-yoing. Many are breathing a sigh of relief knowing that another year has come to pass, and a better one will be replacing it.

In fact, half of the U.S. population feel confident that 2015 will be better than it’s predecessor. The Gallup’s economic confidence index has hit the highest level since the last recession.

That said, Michael Snyder, writer for the Economic Collapse Blog says, “not so fast.” He warns that everyone should stop looking to the machine-driven media for false hopes in 2015. Snyder believes that we are in store for a much more dismal year than the media is letting on.   Continue reading “Storm on the Horizon: Massive Layoffs Planned for Corporate Conglomerates in 2015”

In a ruling handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court, the nation’s top court found that a police officer who mistakenly interprets a law and pulls someone over hasn’t violated their Fourth Amendment rights.

The case pertained to a traffic stop initiated on Nicholas Heien in North Carolina, on account of a broken tail light. The stop and search of the vehicle, conducted by the officer after the initial citation, yielded a good amount of cocaine. Heien was charged with drug trafficking.   Continue reading “Supreme Court: Cops can pull you over even if you haven’t broken a law”

You may not remember this, because it all started way back in 2001, but an important test case just resolved itself up in Rhode Island.

Back in 2001 two Christian Firefighters were forced to participate in a Gay Parade that took place in Providence, Rhode Island. The two firemen asked for reassignment based on their religious beliefs and were promptly denied by their superiors. After some time and receiving legal advice, they decided to sue both the mayor and the fire chief of Providence.   Continue reading “In America – It’s Now Okay to Force Christians to Participate in Gay Parades”

Somebody apparently took a shot at a Houston police officer overnight, leading anxious police union leaders to issue another warning and another call for a change in department policy.

Around 1:30 in the morning near the intersection of South Post Oak and West Bellfort, union leaders say, gunfire erupted from a car driving down South Post Oak near West Bellfort where an officer was working a routine traffic stop. The unidentified officer took cover inside his car, then heard two more shots, the union said.   Continue reading “Gunman reportedly takes shot at officer; union again asks for policy change”

Under the guise of advancing what the United Nations refers to as “human rights,” the dictator-dominated global body is waging a full-blown assault on free-speech rights by pressuring governments to criminalize so-called “hate speech.” Indeed, working alongside radical government-funded activist groups and anti-liberty politicians around the world, the UN and other totalitarian-minded forces have now reached the point where they openly claim that what they call “international law” actually requires governments to ban speech and organizations they disapprove of. Critics, though, are fighting back in an effort to protect freedom of speech — among the most fundamental of all real rights.     Continue reading “UN Seeks to Criminalize Free Speech, Citing “Human Rights””

Even though incense is commonly used for religious and ritual purposes in some of the most populated nations in the world, few studies have ever examined incense burning as a potential health threat. Investigators have found a link between long-term incense use and increased cardiovascular mortality.

Just about any smoke is harmful to our lungs if it’s inhaled. Incense burns four times more particulate matter than cigarette smoke.   Continue reading “Incense Use Now Officially Linked To Cardiovascular Death”

Hard Proof Sydney Hostage Crisis was a Movie SetNoDisInfo

This information represents hard proof—absolute proof—that the Sydney hostage crisis and resultant murders were not a true hostage crisis or murders in the least. Instead, as demonstrated here they were absolute fakes: no hostages were taken, no one died, no one was shot, and no one was injured.

By no means can anyone dispute these findings. They are absolute, that is impossible to refute. It is a wretched, terminal lie, all orchestrated by the criminally corrupt war-mongering and war-generating arch-Zionist cabal.   Continue reading “Hard Proof Sydney Hostage Crisis was a Movie Set”

I have to apologize to the NYPD and eat my own words. In response to a press conference given by the New York police union head Patrick J. Lynch where he blamed protesters and Mayor de Blasio for the murder of two police officers I said that if police actually cared about their own safety, “rather than model themselves after an occupational army tasked with enforcing anti-human drug laws and thousands of other idiotic non-crimes deemed unacceptable by the political class, they’d advocate ending the war on drugs and repealing the lot of stupid laws on the books for which the enforcement of such puts police in danger. ”    Continue reading “NY Police Stop Doing Their Jobs – And People Are Better Off For It”
