If this were the 60s or 70s and you told someone you were using cannabis for pain relief or to treat an illness, you might get a funny look. Today, however, countless legitimate medicinal uses have been discovered for the plant. It’s finally receiving positive attention from a society that’s condemned it for nearly a century.

“Regular” people are standing up for cannabis, unafraid of the consequences imposed by an unfair system. Rather than continue to condemn it, people are openly exploring and sharing information about its benefits. Even doctors are speaking out about it.   Continue reading “Cannabinoids Heal The Body”

A new congressional investigation has determined that the Obama administration fired a top scientist and intimidated staff at the Department of Energy in order to further its climate change agenda, according to a new report that alleges the administration ordered top officials to obstruct Congress in order to forward this agenda.

Rep. Lamar Smith (R., Texas), chair of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, released a wide-ranging report on Tuesday that shows how senior Obama administration officials retaliated against a leading scientist and plotted ways to block a congressional inquiry surrounding key research into the impact of radiation.   Continue reading “Congress: Obama Admin Fired Top Scientist to Advance Climate Change Plans”

About 1,574 – that’s how many illegal aliens were apprehended at the U.S. Mexico border per day during the month of November, marking the fifth straight month of escalating illegal immigration into the southwest United States. And now, in addition to the tens of thousands of illegals streaming in from Central America, officials are reporting increased waves of Cubans and Haitians crossing into the United States via Mexico.

CBP reported late last week that they’d caught a total of 47,214 illegal aliens at the border last month, up from the 46,191 they’d apprehended in October. Already, the first two months of FY2017 have seen higher per-month apprehension rates than any month in FY2016, indicating a new wave of illegal immigration that rivals the surge seen during the summer of 2014.   Continue reading “1,574 PER DAY: Border Officials Struggle Under Increasing Wave of Illegal Migration”

Activists apparently staged “funerals” for dead turkeys at grocery stores across the country, from New York City to Oakland during the Thanksgiving month of November.

The group ‘Direct Action Everywhere’ on Friday posted a video on its Facebook page showing the demonstrations. The video is accompanied by a dramatic soundtrack that sounds like a mix between Halloween and something from an M. Night Shyamalan film — you know, the music that comes the moment some dark truth is finally revealed.   Continue reading “Activists Hold Unintentionally Hilarious ‘Funerals’ for Dead Turkeys at Whole Foods”

Tech Dirt – by Mike Masnick

Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn doesn’t have a very good history demonstrating any knowledge of how the internet works. She’s generally in favor of two very stupid policies related to the internet. First, getting rid of net neutrality. Second, forcing tech companies to censor the internet to stop “piracy.” The fact that her rationales for these two things are completely in conflict with each other doesn’t seem to enter her thought process. That is, she claims that there shouldn’t be any net neutrality because it’s important to keep the internet free from all regulations. Here’s Blackburn explaining this point in a nice, quick and utterly idiotic whiteboard video:   Continue reading “Rep. Marsha Blackburn Says Internet Service Providers Have ‘An Obligation’ To Censor ‘Fake News’”

It’s late in the year, which means, inevitably, it’s time to play a game of “How much are cable companies jacking up prices?” This year the early award goes to Comcast, who is raising its Broadcast TV fee from $5 to $7 per month, while its Regional Sports Network fee is rising from $3 to $5 per month. That works out to an extra $48 per year and comes on top of an additional 3.8% rate increase for broadcast TV and Internet service.   Continue reading “Comcast cable costs jump $48 per year, thanks to increased fees”
