I could live like this, no problem. Been doing basically this anyway for years while trucking. Showering is easy if you know what your doing, basically modern portable camp shower, or paying 12 bucks a pop at any truck stop whose showers are ultra modern and clean.
You wouldn’t believe how many people live like this, easy really and inconspicuously ridiculous! 🙂 solar, water and cooking no problemo. Us single people, easy beans..
When the sht lights off, this is what you want, for sure. Oh yeah, dont forget your .22 mag and nite scope! .44 revolver with laser …

I’ve got an old 85 G20 Chevy van
Looks like a conversion van from the outside
Old looking and plain inconspicuous , mechanically sound with only 80k on the clock
The conversion van windows are just for looks ( can’t see in)
no longer a conversion van people mover
It’s full on camper mode inside
Can be parked right in most stores parking lots right in with all the other cars , and no one pays it any mind
Perfect, you know what I’m talking about! Yeah, I remember you talking about your van over the years, think about it all the time, glad to hear that’s what you’ve done.
I’ve traveled back and forth from the cold far north to Tennessee
I don’t pay the stupid prices of hotel/motel rooms
And being an old trucker myself I know which truck stops to use for a nice shower , even though I do have a solar shower (not much good in winter time though)
For the price of a room I can almost pay my gasoline bill for the ride
Buy a old camper use all the stuff you can and build the van you want on the cheap , heater , stove an oven , sink and cabinets with plumping , lighting , lots of stuff you can reuse . I have also use this stuff building hunting cabins . Some of the campers I got free just had to remove them look at Craigslist . Harbor frieght cheap solar panels with all the stuff but batterys
This is exactly what I did to my inconspicuous conversion van
My nephew had an RV trailer on his lot that the frame and running gear was FUBAR
He had to get it off his lot and was going to have to pay someone to get it out of there
I told him
It will be gone tomorrow… for free
