“Militants” killed in airstrikes. Were they militants before or after they were killed? Airstrikes do not descriminate between militants or innocents. They only produce more militants than before. It has always amazed me that we, in the west, are surprised when the people we are liberating by killing their relatives are so ungrateful for our benign interest in their welfare.
“but most of the dead were militants” and, if they weren’t militants when they were alive, well, they’re dead now and they’re militants, can’t you tell the difference? Those damned “militants”!
