Syria has once again slammed the Israeli regime’s support for the Takfiri ISIL militants operating inside the Arab country.
A Syrian military official, whose name was not mentioned in the reports, made the comments on Tuesday after Tel Aviv said earlier in the day that it had shot down a Syrian warplane as it attempted to fly over the ceasefire line into the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. Despite campaigning on a platform that endorsed having “a nuclear-free world” in the not so distant future, United States President Barack Obama is overseeing an administration that’s aim has taken another path, the New York Times reported this week.
On Sunday, journalists William Broad and David Sanger wrote for the Times that a half-decade of “political deals and geopolitical crises” have thrown a wrench in the works of Pres. Obama’s pre-White House plans, as a result eviscerating his previously stated intentions of putting America’s — and ideally the world’s — nuclear programs on ice. An Al-Qaeda splinter group has kidnapped a French citizen and announced it will execute him if Paris doesn’t stop its military action against the Islamic State in Iraq. France has confirmed the incident, but says it will not change the nation’s position.
In a video that appeared on social media, a masked member of a group calling itself Jund al-Khilafah, or Soldiers of the Caliphate, warns French President Francois Hollande that the hostage will be executed unless France ends its airstrikes and other military actions against ISIS. NEW YORK (AP) — A day after over 100,000 people marched to warn that climate change is destroying the Earth, more than 1,000 activists blocked parts of Broadway in Manhattan’s financial district in a sit-in to protest what they see as corporate and economic institutions’ role in the climate crisis.
Monday’s demonstration was planned as a more confrontational sequel to Sunday’s march, with many participants Monday deliberately risking arrest by obstructing traffic in the heart of the nation’s financial capital. Over 100 people, including a person wearing a white polar bear suit, were arrested Monday night after they refused to leave Broadway near Wall Street, police said. NEW DELHI (AP) — With homegrown technology and a remarkably low budget of about $75 million, India was on course to become the first nation to conduct a successful Mars mission on its first try.

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli special forces stormed a West Bank hideout early on Tuesday and killed two Palestinians suspected in the June abduction and slaying of three Israeli teenagers, a gruesome attack that had triggered a chain of events that led to the war in Gaza this summer.
The deaths of the two suspects, identified by the Israeli military as well-known Hamas militants, ended one of the largest manhunts conducted by the Israeli security forces. Eyal Yifrah, 19, Gilad Shaar, 16, and Naftali Fraenkel, a 16-year-old with dual Israeli-American citizenship, were abducted on June 12 while hitchhiking home in the West Bank and killed soon afterward. Israel shot down a Syrian warplane on Tuesday, saying the aircraft crossed the battle lines of Syria’s civil war and flew over the Israeli-held Golan Heights, perhaps by accident.

Every deer hunter can agree that mature bucks are just… different.
Every year deer hunters take to the woods attempting to harvest their buck of a lifetime. Fairly quickly, plan B usually takes hold and filling their tags becomes the primary goal by the end of the season.

Another border-state sheriff is voicing his frustrations with the Obama administration’s failure to secure the border, saying the lack of action has overwhelmed his county with criminals, drug-cartel members and possible terrorists.

FALFURRIAS, Texas — U.S. Border Patrol agents in Texas found the skull of a person believed to have been an illegal immigrant. The skull was found west of the town of Falfurrias, Texas on a ranch off of U.S. Highway 285. This is the fifty-third person found deceased in the ranches of this county located eighty to one hundred miles from the Mexican border.
The skull was found on Sunday morning by Border Patrol agents who were investigating a pile of debris left behind by illegal immigrants who had been moving through the rancher’s land. The agents contacted the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office who initiated a body recovery operation. At this time, no identification of the deceased has been made and an autopsy will be performed to attempt to find any information to establish the identity. FALFURRIAS, Texas—Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) are beginning a law enforcement surge operation around Falfurrias in Brooks County. The operation is being executed to deter human smuggling and drug trafficking along the two major highways leading to the Border Patrol’s Falfurrias Checkpoint.
Troopers were seen in much larger than normal numbers working the highways around Brooks County last week. A trooper recently told this writer a surge operation was about to begin in Brooks County to try and deter the human smugglers from dropping off their cargo. It is not known at this time, how many troopers will be involved in this surge, nor how long the surge operation will continue. On Monday, Vice President Joe Biden promised that President Barack Obama would “do an awful lot” for illegal immigrants with executive actions toward amnesty. He said if Republicans don’t “see the lord” on immigration after the midterm elections, then they will feel some “lightning.”
According to pool reports, Biden spoke at a Hispanic Heritage Month reception at his residence and reportedly called up a student who had received temporary amnesty due to Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
