Ask your county government. Some counties have them at their fire stations. They give them away for free.
Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- Members of the Burlington City Council have worked out a strategy to attack second amendment rights in Vermont, where there is a strong preemption law that prevents local governments from enacting separate firearms laws. David Codrea noted it months ago.
The Vermont Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs wanted to find out how and why the City was attempting to attack second amendment rights. A public records request was filed in September of 2013. The handling of raw fish at three New York City Chinatown markets has led to an outbreak of a rare skin infection.
The city’s health department has identified 30 people with the infection– caused by a bacteria called Mycobacterium marinum– all of whom handled live or raw seafood at the Chinatown markets in Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn. The Marine Corps Times is calling Mattis the “most revered Marine in a generation.”

Lois Lerner fears for her life if she testifies openly before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Wednesday, according to her attorney.
House oversight committee chairman Rep. Darrell Issa announced Sunday that Lerner will testify at Wednesday’s hearing, but Lerner’s attorney Bill Taylor said that Lerner will seek to continue invoking her Fifth Amendment rights and will also seek a one-week delay of her testimony. A new state-of-the-art headband is being developed by Tufts University scientists that could help facilitate communication between the human brain and computers.
The new technology – currently being crafted at the university’s Human Computer Interaction Lab – would be capable of scanning an individual’s brain activity, determining whether the person is mentally aware enough to handle the task at hand, fatigued, or even bored with what they’re doing. Here is another: a man is assaulted by an officer, trumped up charges are laid, he is jailed for 10 days and his phone is taken. When he gets it back, the footage has clearly been tampered with, leaving nothing but his word against an officer, a pending one-year jail term, a claim that there was no police call and deleted, corrupted files. ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The House of Delegates is considering a bill that would link Maryland’s gun registry to its criminal database.
State law requires gun owners to surrender their weapons if they’re convicted of felonies or any violent crimes, but Del. Luiz Simmons, D-Montgomery, said Maryland State Police lack a systematic way of enforcing this. They can’t use their databases to identify gun owners convicted of crimes. EWING, N.J. – Authorities say one resident was killed in an explosion in a New Jersey housing development that also injured seven workers.

Residents of Washington, DC who are found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana will no longer be charged with a crime after the city council voted Tuesday to reduce the penalty to a small fine.
The members voted 10-1 to drop possession of an ounce or less of cannabis to a civil fine of $25. The council did preserve a law making it illegal to smoke in public, although the maximum penalty for that infraction has been reduced from up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine to up to six months in jail and a $500 fine. About one in five US soldiers have been found to have a common mental illness such as depression or panic disorder upon enlisting in the Army, according to a new study.
A second study showed that over eight percent of soldiers had contemplated suicide and 1.1 percent had attempted suicide, researchers found via confidential surveys and interviews with 5,428 soldiers at Army bases across the US. The last time a leaked phone call out of Ukraine was released about a month ago ostensibly by the Russian NSA equivalent, one between US assistant sec state Victoria Nuland and the US envoy to the Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, it was revealed that the real puppet masters behind the Maidan movement, and the true instigators of the Ukraine “revolution” were none other than the “developed” world superpowers, lead by the US.
