HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — An embattled judge in Houston who was suspended last year without pay and faced a review that could permanently remove her from the bench has resigned.

A group of students from Rockledge High School in Brevard County briefly walked out of class Friday to show their support for the Second Amendment.
About 75 students, according to a head count by school administrators, walked onto the school’s track carrying the American flag and signs that said “guns don’t kill people, people kill people” and “I support the right to bear arms.” The event lasted about 20 minutes and then students returned to class. TED NUGENT: The level of ignorance goes beyond stupidity. Again, the National Rifle Association are a bunch of American families who have a voice to stand up for our God-given Constitutionally-guaranteed right to keep and bear arms. We have no blood on our hands. No NRA member have ever been involved in any mass shootings at all, in fact the National Rifle Association is the lone organization that has taught firearm safety in schools, and for law enforcement, and for military, and for childrens organizations and family organizations around the country for 100 years. On Thursday, an officer in Pasadena, Texas, shot a suspect dead after the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at him.
Texas officer, 40-year-old Marc Adams, captured the incident on dash cam.

Syria is determined to retake control over other its terroritores occupied by terrorists or hostile foreign powers, according to the country’s Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari, during a session of the UN Security Council on the situation in Syria.
Al-Jaafari added that Syria rejects any “armed presence” and “occupying forces” on its territory and accused Israel, Qatar, Turkey, the US, the UK and France of waging a “terrorist war” against Syria. Larry King claimed Wednesday that the Second Amendment was instituted to “ward off slave uprisings” and no longer has a function in the 21st century.
King, standing outside of a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, told TMZ that he agrees with former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who wrote in a New York Times op-ed published Tuesday that the Second Amendment should be repealed. WOODBRIDGE, Conn. (WTNH) – A high school student was suspended and arrested after posting an image of a toy gun on social media.
Zach Cassidento, a high school senior at Amity High Regional School was suspended and arrested as a juvenile after he posted a picture of a toy gun, or what’s called an “airsoft gun,” on Snapchat. A former candidate for Texas State Representative in District 55 was arrested near San Antonio on Tuesday.
C.J. Grisham, who lost in the Republican primary election, was involved in a pro-second amendment demonstration at which he and others were openly carrying firearms, as permitted by Texas law, in the City of Olmos Park in Bexar County. A patient at a Texas hospital has managed to play the flute for doctors while she was undergoing major brain surgery.
