Daily MailA CEO has committed suicide by shooting himself multiple times with a nail gun, a coroner reported on Friday.
Richard Talley, 57, founder of American Title Services in Centennial, Colorado, was found dead in his home on Tuesday with up to eight wounds to the torso and head.
His company was being investigated by state insurance regulators at the time of Mr Talley’s suicide.
A family member found the 57-year-old dead in his garage, the Denver Post reported.
Mr Talley has been married to his wife Cheryl since 1989. He moved to Colorado from Chicago where he was a regional finance officer for Drexel Burnham Lambert.
He attended the University of Miami and Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
The Post also claimed that Talley had once said he was a member of the 1980 U.S. Olympic swimming team’ – but a spokesman for USA Swimming refuted this.
The Department Of Regulatory Agencies confirmed that an investigation was focused on Talley and the company to the Post but gave no additional information.

Mr Talley had allegedly been having trouble with his business before he took his own life in Colorado
Talley had formed a number of companies, some of which closed down, including American Escrow, Clear Title, Clear Creek Financial Holdings, Swift Basin, Sumar, American Real Estate Services, and the American Alliance of Real Estate Professionals.
His funeral will be held on Saturday in Centennial.

I have seen other people get shot with them a few times and they don’t want more than one.
For some one to do it to themselves eight times, and die slowly, sounds fishy to me.
Also sounds impossible. I think you’d be dead after the 3rd or 4th nail in the stomach, depending on the needle. Sounds more like a mafia style hit after tying the person up to a chair or a pole.

Oh wait! Is it time to start banning nail guns? Must be 18 years of age or older and be licensed to carry with 100 hours of nailing training experience and even then, you could kill your own children. So therefore, we must find a way to ban everyone but the government from using them.
Maybe they should start by buying a billion rounds of nails and causing a mass shortage of nails and allow only 5 round cartridges to be loaded with the nail gun. Oh! And don’t forget to register your nail gun with the local police department or face prison time. Yea that sounds about right. Am I missing anything? lol

LOL yes NC, that is what I am thinkin` too. I think if anything that this guy was murdered for sure – if not, he was one dumb sob. They do not even know how many wounds there were?, yea that is funny when they say ” up to 8 wounds “. There would be a lot easier ways to commit sucide than what is claimed in the article, and that is why I think he was murdered for one reason or another.

Looking at the companies he owned, they all had something to do with Title work, I am assuming Real Estate Title, which is going down the tubes. Here in Louisiana, the Real Estate Title companies are going out of business, as these court houses go online and the records are available from anywhere, people in India are undercutting American Title companies, and they cannot compete. I know a Lady in Baton Rouge, LA, this is exactly what happened to her. I do Title for a living, but not for Real Estate, makes me think, crap, is my job going to India?
He did not commit suicide, he was murdered, just my take!!!

I used to frame houses…I can’t see this guy being that hardcore. And he nullified his life insurance policy with a wife to think of. Patriots and Mexicans know this is BS.
