WASHINGTON, D.C. — The CIA director said that enhanced interrogation techniques (EITs), condemned in a Senate Intelligence Committee report as ineffective, did help thwart terrorist attacks against the United States, capture terrorists, and save lives.

“Our review indicates that interrogations of detainees on whom EITs were used did produce intelligence that helped thwart attack plans, capture terrorists, and save lives,” CIA Director John Brennan said in a statement Tuesday. “The intelligence gained from the program was critical to our understanding of al-Qa’ida and continues to inform our counterterrorism efforts to this day.”     Continue reading “B.S. FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday left open the possibility that an agent might again pose as a journalist as part of an investigation, though he said such a tactic ought to be rare and “done carefully with significant supervision, if it’s going to be done.”

Comey told reporters at a roundtable discussion that he was “not willing to say never” when asked if the FBI would swear off future use of the tactic in response to an Associated Press demand made last month.   Continue reading “FBI Leaves Door Open on Media Impersonation”

NEWARK — Newark mayor Ras Baraka will hold press conference today to urge lawmakers to pass legislation making the state’s red light camera program permanent.

The five-year-old pilot program is set to expire and the cameras at 73 intersections across the state will go dark unless the state legislature and Gov. Chris Christie take legislative action by the middle of this month.

“We need that money. I think it’s a good program,” Baraka said Thursday during a brief interview. “The city is bringing in about $4 million dollars a year…that’s why we (are) speaking out about it.”   Continue reading “‘We need that money,’ Baraka says as he urges lawmakers to keep red light cameras”

MANHATTAN (CN) – Once ripped from their families after World War II to populate Australia with “pure white stock,” Maltese children described “shocking violations of internationally accepted norms” in a federal lawsuit four years ago. But Supreme Court precedent and the statute of limitations means that the Catholic orders that treated them “essentially as slaves” will never see a federal jury, the 2nd Circuit ruled on Monday.

Emmanuel Ellul says that he was 14 years old when the Congregation of Christian Brothers told his parents that he and his brothers would be able to return to Malta following his education in Australia.   Continue reading “Catholic Orders Dodge Post-WWII Slavery Claim”

A Staten Island grand jury’s decision not to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo for the chokehold death of Eric Garner — a father of six — stunned large swaths of the city and added fuel to a nationwide surge of protests over police killings.

But history shows the odds were always in Pantaleo’s favor.   Continue reading “In 179 fatalities involving on-duty NYPD cops in 15 years, only 3 cases led to indictments — and just 1 conviction”

A Kentucky clothing company that refused to produce T-shirts for a “gay”-pride festival because of the owner’s Christian beliefs is appealing a state Human Rights Commission’s ruling of “unlawful discrimination.”

It’s one of the greatest barn finds of all time — a collection of 60 cars, some rare and potentially worth millions, that was hidden away on an estate in western France.

The cars were collected by Roger Baillon, a French truck manufacturing magnate who purchased them and many more throughout the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, then sold half the lot and left the rest to rot in 1978 when his business went bankrupt. They’ve remained untouched ever since.   Continue reading “Amazing collection of 60 classic cars uncovered after four decades”

The 9/11 Delusion: Israel’s False Flag, Jingoism And InhumanityThe Ugly Truth

The scathing report published Tuesday by the United States Senate Intelligence Committee on the CIA’s interrogation of terror suspects reveals that the CIA’s lawyers used the rulings of Israel’s Supreme Court to construct a legal case justifying torture.

According to the 528-page document, a redacted version of the 6,000-page report that remains classified, in November 2001 some CIA officers were concerned they may need legal justification for the interrogation methods they had begun using when questioning Al-Qaida suspects in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

The CDC recently admitted that this year’s flu shot likely won’t protect you from the flu, but did it ever? Though the CDC has issued a formal apology regarding the issue for this season, flu vaccinations have long been seen as ineffective by a horde of experts. But don’t worry – here you will find more than 20 natural flu remedies using natural antivirals.

No surprise here, but there won’t be any refund for insurance companies or patients who have already taken a flu vaccination early as preparation for the 2015 flu season in January and February, despite the CDC’s admission of its inefficacy.   Continue reading “21 Natural Alternatives to the Flu Shot”

Sunday night, the Discovery channel aired a special called “Eaten Alive”wherein snake expert Paul Rosolie was supposed to be, you know, eaten alive by an anaconda. Viewers were ticked off when the two-hour-long special ended with Rosolie bailing out as soon as the snake started to squeeze his arm, leading to his swift removal from the anaconda whose belly he was meant to explore on camera.

But while some viewers were annoyed by the bait-and-switch nature of the program, most snake-lovers were angered by the very premise of the show.   Continue reading “Force-feeding a human to a snake is not science (and is also super dumb)”

For those who know about the history of geoengineering – aka chemtrails – you might be noticing a spate of admissions from the halls of establishment science and government that the “conspiracy theory” is no longer … it is a fact.

Perhaps the efforts of independent researchers have forced such open disclosure, at least putting us over the hurdle of abject denial. However, the narrative being created for mainstream media consumption is disingenuous at best, and full-throttle manipulation at worst. Case in point is an admission from The Royal Society that geoengineering experiments are being debated for full rollout even in the absence of policy restrictions.   Continue reading “Elite Think Tank Admits to Ongoing Climate Engineering Experiments”
