NEW YORK (INTELLIHUB) — Trust wise, I guess you could say that Bill O’Reilly has bitten the dust. Although I never trusted him in the first place this latest news cycle may remove him from the map as a trusted source altogether. The question is: will Fox step back?

“The story speaks for itself”, Daniel Shulman, Senior Editor of Mother Jones said in response to CNN’s Chris Cuomo, talking about the infamous Bill O’Reilly, an egotistical Fox News host who reportedly lied to his viewers on more than a few occasions over the years.   Continue reading “Fox’s Bill O’Reilly finally bites the dust — more newsroom liars exposed”

The Economist has quoted unnamed foreign businessmen as saying that American companies are using local front men to seal deals in Iran.  Even in one instance, the Economist has quoted an unnamed middleman acting on behalf of an American firm in the oil and banking business as saying that some “prime contracts have already been snapped up.”   Continue reading “US firms already sealing deals in Tehran – Report”

When I bought my Blackberry, I thought about the 30-year business I ran with 1800 employees, all without a cell phone that plays music, takes videos, pictures and communicates with Face book and Twitter.

I signed up under duress for Twitter and Face book, so my seven kids, their spouses, my 13 grand kids and 2 great grand kids could communicate with me in the modern way. I figured I could handle something as simple as Twitter with only 140 characters of space.   Continue reading “Should I Really Join Face book?”

As if a petition is going to stop it. But at least it gets the message out that We the People know about it and have had enough.

Activist Post – by Catherine J. Frompovich

There’s a petition regarding overhead aerosol spraying, similar to a petition about forced/mandatory vaccinations that needed 100,000 signatures. That petition, “PROHIBIT ANY LAWS MANDATING THE FORCE AND REQUIREMENT OF VACCINATIONS OF ANY KIND” apparently was ‘stopped’ for three days, but, eventually, after activists brought that ‘malfunction’ to the public’s attention, gathered 126,877signatures on the White House petition website, “We the People,” by the time I was writing this article the evening of March 6, the petition’s closing date.   Continue reading “Stop Chemtrail Spraying Petition to White House Needs Signatures”

Sen. Ron Wyden and Sen. Orrin Hatch are now in a stand-off over a bill that would put secretive trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement on the Fast Track to passage through Congress. The White House meanwhile, has intensified their propaganda campaign, going so far as to mislead the public about how trade deals—like the TPP and its counterpart, the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP)—will affect the Internet and users’ rights. They are creating videos, writing several blog posts, and then this week, even sent out a letter from an “online small business owner” to everyone on the White House’s massive email list, to further misinform the public about Fast Track.   Continue reading “4 Ways The White House Has Gone Full Doublespeak on Fast Track and the TPP”

Whitter, CA — Six police officers from Whittier, California are suing the city after being punished for protesting ticket quotas. The officers say they complained repeatedly within the department and shortly after were met with discrimination. They say their “careers have been materially and adversely affected, and irreparably harmed” by the city.

Jim Azpilicueta, Anthony Gonzalez, Mike Rosario, Nancy Ogle, Steve Johnson and Cpl. Joseph Rivera say that the quotas were imposed in 2008. They spoke out multiple times but when they took it to their supervisors and the Internal Affairs Division, they were swiftly punished. The officers allege they were reprimanded by being ordered to undergo counseling and that they encountered increased scrutiny, “disparaging” remarks, and faced unwarranted transfers.   Continue reading “California Cops Who Blew Whistle on Ticket Quotas Forced to Undergo Counseling”

Sex Education 640Breitbart – by DONNA RACHEL EDMUNDS

Children as young as eleven are to be given lessons in school on pornography and on what constitutes rape. The classes will be introduced into English schools following the Easter holidays, amidst concerns that teenagers are being pressurised into having sex at a younger age.

Formal guidance has been commissioned by the government to be circulated to schools. It suggests that courses should start “before young people are sexually active, otherwise it is too late”, and advises teachers to dispel “rape myths”, such as suggestions that consent is implicit if a woman is wearing revealing clothing or is “teasing” a man, the Sunday Times has reported.   Continue reading “Eleven Year Old Children to be Taught How to Consent to Sex Under Guise of Rape Prevention”

They seem as common as squawking gulls, and true Angelenos may not even bother to look up when one of the LAPD’s 17 helicopters rattles their windows, its spotlight searching for a car-jacked Camry or an assault suspect hiding under a jacaranda.

In a city of 469 sprawling square miles, few doubt that more bad guys would get away without the nation’s largest police helicopter fleet to help chase them.   Continue reading “LAPD uses its helicopters to stop crimes before they start”

The moment of totality during the solar eclipse (Reuters / Howard Burditt)RT

This spring should reward plenty of star-gazers, especially in Britain, which will experience its deepest solar eclipse in 15 years, as well as a Supermoon, all at the same time – an event that will sink the island into twilight for two whole hours.

The Supermoon eclipse, as the phenomenon is known, is an astronomical alignment where the Moon is sent on a trajectory between the Sun and the Earth, depriving us of light. The event will occur on March 20 at around 8:40GMT.   Continue reading “Upcoming ‘Supermoon’ eclipse will dazzle Britain, but hit Europe’s power grids hard”
