David Cameron said about 50,000 18 to 21-year-olds would be required to do daily work experience from day one of their claim, alongside job searching.
The welfare shake-up would make sure young people “don’t get sucked into a life on welfare”, he said in a speech.
Labour said the Tories would do nothing to get young people “real jobs”.
The opposition has pledged a compulsory jobs guarantee for the young unemployed, paid for by a tax on bankers’ bonuses.
The Conservatives are focusing on welfare reforms this week as they draw up battle lines before May’s general election.
Their proposed community work programme will cost about £20m to deliver, paid for by “initial savings” from the delivery of universal credit.
‘Order and discipline’
Those aged between 18 and 21 who have not been in employment, education or training, known as “Neets”, for six months would no longer receive jobseeker’s allowance (JSA).
Instead, they would be paid the youth allowance, paid at the same rate as JSA – £57.35 a week.
However, to receive it they would be required to carry out 30 hours a week of mandatory community work from the first day of claiming benefits.
This could involve making meals for older people or working for local charities, alongside 10 hours of job hunting.
No work no eat. Sounds good. There should be exceptions for those who can not work. The unfortunate 2%.
When a person works for the community for food, that is communism. Okay for the limeys but will never be tolerated here.

There are plenty of communist pigs in this government that need the same treatment. There are also plenty of sellout traitors at the state and local level that the same rule needs to apply to also. Here the ones willing to ignore the will of the people are known as politicians and representatives and if you don’t like it you can always go to the bought and paid for criminal courts to have your grievances laughed at!

1: forcing people to work for free isnt just slavery, it takes the jobs from people who actually got paid real money to do it.
2: cameron spent his college years in a group called the “Bullingdon Club” that spent it’s time smashing up resturants for kicks.
the only reason he didnt end up in prison or hospital is because of his rich jewish bankster parents.
lastly we should remember he is sponging off the public himself without doing any real work for it.
Maybe Cameron should get a job. For one thing we could get rid of compulsory education and central banks, minimum wage laws and labor unions, over-bloated government and excessive regulation, the war on everything under the sun, John McCain and Hillary Clinton (and all the rest) and wait a minute… that’s more than one thing. But if young people need work, taxing young people or anyone else to support unproductive government jobs programs won’t fit the bill. There’s a lot of resources wasted on the state. Do I need to ask what we have to show for the expenditure in wealth and blood?
