Disney brings lesbian moms to TV

WND

In a move that’s being described as chasing “the whims of political correctness,” the Disney Channel reportedly will feature a “married” lesbian couple on a popular kids sitcom in the coming season.

“It’s a disappointment to millions of Americans that Disney would choose to become a groundbreaker in immorality,” commented Movieguide, the organization headed by Christian media critic Ted Baehr. “New concepts of morality have had a very negative impact on marriage, families, and children.”

Movieguide said that instead of “becoming a leader in political correctness, we encourage Disney to hold on to their title as the leader in good, fun and wholesome.”

TV Guide reports the lesbian characters will appear on an episode of “Good Luck Charlie.”

The series, which debuted in 2010, will be canceled after the current fourth season. New episodes, however, will be rolling out through early 2014.

Good Luck Charlie” stars Bridgit Mendler as Teddy, the second oldest sibling of the Denver-based Duncan family. Jason Dolley plays her older brother P.J., Bradley Steven Perry her younger brother Gabe, Mia Talerico the titular toddler Charlie (short for Charlotte), Logan Moreau is new baby brother Toby and Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer play their parents Amy and Bob.

In the lesbian storyline, preschooler Charlie’s parents set up a play date with one of her new friends. When the child arrives, the Duncans learn that Charlie’s pal has two moms.

“The potential new friendship is put to the test as one mom chats with Amy, and the other is stuck listening to Bob’s dull stories,” reported TV Guide.

“Disney Channel understands the groundbreaking nature of featuring a same-sex couple on one of its sitcoms and took extra care in crafting the episode,” TV Guide added.

It quoted a channel spokesman: “This particular storyline was developed under the consultancy of child development experts and community advisers.”

One-time Disney child star Miley Cyrus, who starred in the “Hannah Montana” franchise and since has been advocating same-sex marriage, tweeted, “I commend Disney for making this step in the light of this generation.”

According to the Christian Post, Ross Murray, spokesman for the homosexual-advocacy organization GLAAD, said the show “really isn’t that different than what kids encounter on a day-to-day basis.”

“GLAAD didn’t create or promote the storyline for the show, but we are thankful that Disney wishes to include all families in their programming,” Murray told the Post.

However, Alison Howard of Concerned Women for America said parents and viewers should contact Disney and their cable provider if they object.

“In the same way the Boy Scouts had a ‘no-sex’ policy before advocates sought to indoctrinate youth, Disney should be leaving sex out of its programming for young audiences,” Howard told CP. “This is reflective of the dissolution of marriage and the traditional family unit that we know is best for kids. Disney is clearly looking to gauge public reaction so we should see this as an opportunity for those who disagree with exposing children to same-sex behavior to give Disney and their cable provider feedback.”

Movieguide added that remaining the leader in “good, fun and wholesome” also is good for business.

“The research shows time and again that movies and programs that have moral content (though some considered old fashioned) actually make MORE money at the box office and on television than their more raunchier and political correct competition,” the commentary said. “That’s because most people want the kind of programs that Disney has become legendary in creating.

“We hope Disney realizes the legacy and, yes, the obligation, that they have to the millions of parents around the world that want Disney to simply be Disney. We will know the future of Disney by whether they elect to air this episode on the Disney Channel or whether they choose to stand with millions who look to Disney to give us the good, the fun and the wholesome.

“We strongly encourage Disney to not chase the whims of political correctness and instead to simply ‘Be Disney,’” Movieguide said.

  1. The Disney Corp. has abandoned the family, a long time ago,
as being a wholesome form of the entertainment industry.
Long gone, since the days of family programming.
The marxist agenda is trying so very hard to re-write what
    the ideal family looks like.
They’ve got Disney by the throat stifling the very essence of life.
Blended homes that lack morals and standards, replacing the
institution of marriage with the celebration of multiple partners.
Where the Father of the home is portrayed as either a loser
    or a wimp.
The Feminist, asserting her masculinity, which actually celebrates
    the lack of critical thought.
Queers, brought to center and fore front as acceptable and cool.
When in reality, they contribute to the diseases of mind,
body and soul. Disney isn’t the only one.
There are many who’ve jumped aboard the train wreck that we’re witnessing.
As this train travels, full throttle and headlong, towards complete and
utter destruction. The occupants are laughing all the way.
    So what’s the point ?
    It’s this;
These creatures aboard the train wreck of disaster are totally mad.
    Blind Barking Mad !
Blinded by the lies of the world.
Barking like the howling curs that they are.
Mad in their reasoning, for the disdain and contempt that
they receive from NORMAL thinking folks.
They laugh all the way to their doom thinking they’re taking
    everyone with them.
Sadly, many are jumping aboard at each stop this train makes.

    1. I concur. The Hollywierd mechanism began inserting the thin edge of a thick wedge upon its inception. First gaining confidence in portraying organizations like Disney as being supportive of the family unit and then incrementally interjecting the poison designed to destroy. First orphans adopted and then broken families. Then feminizing the men as the women became masculine. And now we have degenerated to the point that they actually have the balls to put forth two men or two women as the parents of a family unit. They can and will go to hell, or the equivalent thereof.

  2. the thing about all this homosexual…stuff………its dumb
its stupid. The attempt to claim……..well, no problem!!
were it not for the natural made way….men, women….you, I , them, disney channel people, all of us, could not be here………
now how much brain thinking does it take to acknowledge that………
    NONE
see how stupid this whole thing is……
GOD I’am ashamed of those who claim, normalcy, a ok, type of thought.

  3. DISNEY = FASCIST NAZIS!!

Lately, not just Disney, I’ve been seeing more and more shows promoting gay and lesbian teen shows, as though there is nothing wrong with it when they show two guys or girls kissing. In the 80’s and 90’s there would have been an uproar and the show would have been banned or canceled for life. Now it’s like it’s nothing. I mean this stuff used to be X-rated back in the day and only a small group of perverted outcasts from society would even think to watch it in the shadows and now it’s normal?

I’m sure there are many more shows that throw in an episode here or there with small irrelevant characters who have nothing to do with the overall theme of the show, but for no reason than to enforce political correctness of that sort. It’s sick and disgusting. Yet this is what our children are being brainwashed with these days.

The Zionists/Communist have truly corrupted and perverted television in more sick ways than one and since our education system is F**KED, and their parents aren’t home, this is what our children are subjected to and being educated by on TV.

  4. I don’t know, as a kid I never liked Disney and never wanted to go there.
Maybe it was the one time I watch a bit of the mickey mouse club and saw the kids sitting around in awe of that guy that gave me the creeps. Maybe it was those big ears they wore?
The only thing I could ever say I did like from Disney was Pinocchio when I was a kid. The part with all the kids on the train always stuck in my mind and the “hee haws”, then turning into jackasses. It wasn’t until I saw obobsorwhateverhisnameis (For the first time) running for prez with his hope and change crap, I was like OMG there go all those sheeple riding that train 🙁

    1. Maybe it was the 666 in his signature that put you off, RT.

Not that it’s really his signature anyway. It was created for him by an ‘artist’.

      1. Maybe rbeason is right? #1
I only watched it for maybe 3 mins., looked at the kids (Maybe they didn’t seem real? now ((older)) would say zombiefied) and the older guy there gave me the creeps & and either turned the ch. or went outside.
There were movies on I vividly remember that I did like. I think on pbs(<was pbs around in the mid 60's?) there was one in blk & wht about pharms in china, when you walked in they pulled out boxes of roots and herbs and things on a big wall, one about Leonardo da Vinci, where when he was a kid helping his mother peel potatoes & he did a potato sculpture, and abt. later on when he wrote backwards (I started teaching myself that shortly after watching it)<freaked my 2nd grade teacher out hehe! Then a bit later on a movie abt. a healer (I wish I could find that one, searching for years) that at the end of the movie, a little boy was dying and she crawled onto his hospital bed, layed next to him. The child received her energy and was healed, the healer died as he was brought back from death. Oh and I did like Perry Mason hehe! Just not disney. I guess I didn't watch it long enough to see any 666.

        1. You probably wouldn’t have noticed it unless it was pointed out to you, RT. It was in his full signature – Walt Disney, not just the last name by itself.

          1. Yep lol!
I didn’t watch enough to know.
After seeing your post tho, I did ask a Native Floridian, they did the signature in the air, and said yeah it would be/it is.

          2. Hmmmm…… Yep, and the D could also be a backward 6 or an upsidedown 9. I did see abt. 15 down the page, same side, in the yellow there could be the sign of Taurus or Mercury and possibly Neptune or a pitchfork. (Seems he was Sag. who knows what his moon sign or rising sign or anything else I could go into, could be. It will be interesting to check all those things out) Maybe other signs or symbols could be in there. Conspiracy Theory? 🙂

  5. isn’t that something RTHank
    I too didn’t like disney….when I was a kid
    that was….1956….say 1962…grad hs 1963
always felt sorta creepy to me….
    wasn’t real in some way….
    well
thank you for having me recall this

  6. I bought the VHS tape of the little mermaid for my daughter. A friend brought it to my attention that on the picture cover, the castle had a dildo in one of the turrets on the castle. I checked and confirmed he was right. He also confirmed that there was a scene where the preacher was marrying a the little mermaid and the preacher had a bulge in his pants as if he was getting a hard-on. I’ve never been a fan of Disney since then.

  7. Everyone will see “Disney” and assume wholesome family entertainment. Yes, it’s amazing what drug related ideas can do.
