Do Gilroy garlic festival shooter and El Paso Walmart shooter look alike?

Fellowship of the Minds – by Dr. Eowyn

In just one week, America’s been rocked by two mass shootings.

On Sunday, July 28, 2019, at 5:45 p.m., Santino William Legan, 19, opened fire at the Gilroy Garlic Festival in Gilroy, California, killing three people (including a 6-year-old boy) and injuring 13. Within a minute of shots being fired, Gilroy officers shot and killed Legan. Reportedly, Legan used a WASR-10 semi-automatic rifle that he had legally purchased in Fallon, Nevada, on July 9, three weeks before the festival.

Legan was of Italian and Iranian descent. Reading material on white supremacy and Islamic extremism was found at his home, which led the media to portray him as a “white supremacist”. But an FBI spokesman said Legan had literature “from left to right” and that the FBI cannot put him into any particular ideological “box”. (Wikipedia)

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, just before 10:30 a.m., at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, also wielding a WASR-10 semi-automatic rifle, Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, shot and killed 20 people (including 7 Mexican nationals) and injured another 26.

Crusius was arrested shortly after the shooting began and charged with capital murder. Police say Crusius had purchased the gun legally. Two law enforcement officers told ABC News that after Crusius was taken into custody, he told investigators that he wanted to shoot as many Mexicans as possible.

Police believe that Crusius is linked to a white nationalist manifesto, “The Inconvenient Truth,” published 27 minutes prior to the shooting on 8chan‘s politics board. The manifesto expresses worry about a “Hispanic invasion”, automation, large corporations, and environmental degradation, and is critical of both Democratic and Republican politicians for being “either complacent or involved” in the “takeover of the United States government by unchecked corporations.” (Wikipedia)

Gateway Pundit discovered that at 2:46 p.m. on August 3, 2019, Crusius’original profile on My Life identified him as a registered Democrat, Caucasian,  and Christian. Four minutes later, at 2:50 p.m., his profile was changed to one describing him as a registered Republican, Evangelical Christian, former campaign worker for Donald Trump, and a QAnon follower.
