The Eiffel Tower is on lockdown after being evacuated tonight – as armed police and soldiers search tourists in central Paris.
Reports say the whole areas around the popular tourist attraction has been cordoned off.
The reason for the evacuation is not immediately clear.
Eyewitnesses described a large police presence at the scene.
Others indicated the military had been deployed “all over” the place.
Police are allowing people into the ground floor restaurant – but nobody else is allowed to venture any further – according to one report.
People are reported to be acting calmly – with “no state of panic” – and responding well to the show of force.
The French nation has suffered a number of terrorist attacks in the last 18 months – including the attacks in Paris last November, the attack in Nice last month and the murder of a French priest in Normandy last week.

Pretty clear to me.
Not really surprised by this news. I’ve been expecting some sort of emergency at the Eiffel Tower since it was shown in a cartoon being blown up. It’s called ‘Predictive Programming’, and has been employed for years to foretell future disasters by the global elites.
A government spokesperson said that France is ready to capitulate and is eager to work with what ever the occupying force demands…
