Florida Man Arrested After Repeatedly Calling 911 To Report Missing Beer

Opposing Views – by Sarah Fruchtnicht

A Florida man was arrested for calling 911 seven times in four hours to complain that his wife had “thrown out his beer.”

Police went to Carlos Bueno Mir’s West Palm Beach home and explained that missing beer isn’t an emergency. According to a police report, the 49-year-old was intoxicated at the time.

After police left, Bueno Mir dialed emergency services again. He yelled at a female dispatcher that a woman had “broken into two of his beers,” according to WPBF.

He allegedly dialed 911 seven times in just four hours.

He was charged with misuse of the 911 system and making a false alarm or complaint or reporting false information.

  1. Hahaha! Sounds like the police didn’t know what penal code to charge this guy with as there wasn’t one stupid enough to fit this bill.

“making a false alarm or complaint or reporting false information.”….or something. Oh hell, I don’t know. Just charge him. We’ll figure it out later. lol
