Food Safety Certification OR for $30, Teach Me How to “Safely” Put a Hot Dog in the Oven, Popcorn in a Bag and Pepsi in a Cup

These days, everywhere we go, we are plagued with regulations upon regulations that we can’t even walk out of the house without someone calling up or coming by like little nannies and telling us what to do, how to be “safe” or what is “politically correct”. Whether it would be telling us what kind of color we can have on our house, how to “safely” ride a bicycle by wearing a helmet or whether we can wear a shirt with an American flag on it during a Mexican holiday, we are being bombarded by power-hungry corporations and government officials who seek to create laws to fine and own every aspect of our lives.

Well recently, after having worked for 6 years at a movie theater about a decade ago, I just got offered a job to work at a theater again to try and do something to put food on the table, since there are barely any damn jobs left out there, due to the economic situation. Unfortunately, some corporate cronies told our government some years ago, that a person working in any business that handles food in any manner (fast food places, grocery stores, etc), has to take a corporate food safety certification course (aka the Common Core Food Handling course) before they can even start working at that job (something I, nor anyone, EVER had to do years ago, as it would have been looked upon as INSANE when I first worked at the theater or any food place back then).  

Of course they don’t tell you this until AFTER you get the job and oh yea, by the way, YOU have to pay $30 more or less, depending on your state, county and city, in order to do the online course and receive the certification. Oh yea and in addition to that, the course is not created nor administered by the government, but by a THIRD PARTY CORPORATION!!!

In any case, the corporation that devised this little course is blatantly working in conjunction with the government to extort money out of you BEFORE you even start working.

So let me put it plainly. I don’t even have a job and barely have any money, as it is. Now, I finally get a job, which is absolute minimum wage, mind you, and I have to pay some corporation a $30 extortion fee in order to start the job? WHAT THE @#$%????!!!!

That’s basically over FOUR HOURS of work from my paycheck (bare minimum wage) that I have to SLAVE OVER and give up upfront (before I can even get paid a cent, in addition to taxes that have to be taken out and stolen by this criminal corporate government), to pay to them in order for them to tell me how to touch food, place a hot dog in an oven and put POPCORN IN A DAMN BAG!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!????  You’re telling me companies can’t even literally take 2 minutes out of their precious little time to train someone for FREE if they are, for some reason, too dumb not to know how to do it? So now they have to get the government involved and no one sees this as COMPLETELY ASININE OR UTTERLY INSANE!!!????

Also, I don’t even care if the certification is good for two years. Bottom line, it’s an unnecessary Communist government regulatory fee to take money away from We the People in order to generate revenue for the corporate government. It’s highway robbery.

Let me tell you about a crazy, extortion scam in China. In China, at the airport, if you check in a dog (or any pet) onto the plane, a company works with the government at the airport in order to charge you a fee if you want to get your dog back after you land, even AFTER you have paid the check in luggage fee, otherwise, you’ll never see your dog again. Oh yea, and no one at the airport at the time of check-in tells you this until AFTER you have landed and it’s time to pick up your dog, meaning they can charge you any fee they want to in order for you to get your dog back and of course there’s no guarantee as to what condition your dog may be in once you pick it up and they are not held responsible for its condition. Fees are generally in the hundreds of dollars and if you don’t have the money with you at the time, you won’t get your dog back and if you don’t pick it up by the end of the day, as I said before, you may never see your dog again. A friend of mine had to pay 4,000 RMB or about $650 US just to get her dog back! It’s merely a few small companies working with the government to KIDNAP your pet AND EXTORT money from people and splitting the profits, like this corporate government finds a way of doing every single day to us here in America.

It’s just like Henry Shivley often says about the banker bailout scam, in that “the bankers are charging We the People for the money that we borrowed from them to give to them to bail them out and now we owe that money to them that we gave to the them to bail them out with interest!!” WHAT THE HELL??!!!!

Finally, another way of looking at it is how these idiots at job recruiting companies say, “If you can’t get a job, you should go back to school”. Are they even listening to themselves?

If I don’t have a job, how the HELL can I pay for school? From corporate government loan sharks? And if I don’t have a certification or a degree, how the HELL can I get a good job? Does anyone else see the insane revolving circle going on here?

It’s one big scam after another in this country.

So let me be clear, once again. For some reason, the corporations and the city feel they need to charge ME $30 in order to teach ME, a 34 year old, how to handle food and put POPCORN IN A BAG AND PEPSI IN A CUP!!!! Something, that I have been doing since I was 6 years old WITHOUT ANY STUPID NANNY STATE CERTIFICATION!!!!!

I am FED UP with this crap! I am so sick and tired of these corporations extorting every last penny I have in order to do anything.

What’s next? I have to take a $30 certification course on how to wash and wear my uniform properly or to tie my shoelaces correctly?

I mean we already have this ridiculous city ordinance in Burien, Washington, so why not, right?

2. A certification is NOT going to stop someone from doing it again. IT’S A PIECE OF PAPER, FOR CRYIN’ OUT LOUD!!!!

It’s the same thing as a job assessment. People lie on those things all the time and no one will ever know until AFTER they are hired. As a matter of fact, some people even have their friends do it because it insults their intelligence. Yet, if you don’t do it, the employer won’t even look at you or consider you for employment.

Furthermore, it’s the same thing with gun control. Registering your guns is NOT going to make you any safer or prevent criminals from doing something because CRIMINALS AND IDIOTS DON’T FOLLOW THE LAW OR RULES!!!

Do they truly believe everything that’s on paper? Have they no brains!!!??? Can’t a job interviewer see during the interview whether the person can do the job or not or whether he or she can handle food correctly? If the person has problems handling food, THEN TRAIN THEM ON THE JOB, YOU LAZY JACKASS!!! It takes two seconds and if they are still too stupid to do something that a 6 year old can do, THEN FIRE THEIR ASS!!! There are millions of people who are unemployed and need a job, so what’s the problem???!!!

But NOOOO…..they’ll use the excuse, “well we want to make sure we have the best candidate and we don’t want to keep hiring people over and over again because it wastes company time.”

Seriously? You hire a third party company to create and evaluate the job assessment and never even see it, so therefore, it is completely pointless and you call that finding the best way to select the perfect candidate?

Waste company time? You work in the fast food industry or theater business and you think your time is extremely valuable??? Do you know how ridiculous you sound?

Furthermore, once again, how is any of that MY PROBLEM?? Don’t use your Communist rhetoric to twist and put your company problems onto me. That’s what they do in China.

These corporate scumbags are acting like it’s not normal for people to quit their jobs all the time. People quit all the time back in the day, that’s what happens when you are running a business!! DUH!!!!

Plus, it’s a THEATER business!!! It’s not a robotics company. YOU CAN FIND ANYONE TO DO THE DAMN JOB!!! STOP making it sound like your company is so damn special when everyone, including yourself knows IT IS NOT and STOP putting all of your problems onto the employees! Just because you think that there are more people than work, doesn’t mean you can treat people like slaves. This is what companies do in China. It’s COMMUNISM, plain and simple, people!

What about people living in tent cities or in of their cars who don’t have any money but need a job? You’re going to kick them to the curb because they can’t pay the $30 extortion fee up front for a minimum wage job?

In addition to that, most employers now either do only direct deposit or some stupid electronic pay card for your pay because they want to do away with paper checks because “it saves money”.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? It’s all about the business, while screwing the individual and all about these corporations trying to move one step closer to full electronic money and the mark of the beast system and everyone is completely blind in seeing it.

And finally, of course, no corporate business’ safety standards (such as working in a theater) would be complete without the infamous line, “IF YOU SEE SOMETHING – SAY SOMETHING!”

Honestly, I came back from China three years ago and I don’t even feel like I’ve left it. This is Communism and Fascism no matter how you look at it. I can’t believe people in this country continue to take this crap. It’s insanity!

And don’t even get me started with tollways and safelight tickets. ALL RUN BY CORPORATIONS that charge and extort YOU for driving on the road and are policed by sick pigs like the cops in this video!

But do illegal immigrants with scabies, lice and TB, pneumonia, and possibly even Swine Flu have to do all of this? Most likely not, SINCE OUR LAWS DON’T APPLY TO THEM!! But even if they do, they’re already a walking transmitted disease, and don’t even know how to speak English to do the course anyways, so would it really matter?

As a matter of fact, they get over $250 A DAY of our hard earned money for FREE with food stamps and cartloads of food, while We the People have to pay a $30 extortion fee just to get a job! So whose country is this?

Then you have that sleazy, treasonous maggot, John Boehner who says that unemployed people would “rather just sit around” and do nothing all day. Maybe if he and his political cronies allowed us to work for our money, rather than have us pay the government to allow us to start working for somebody, we might be able to “afford” (I can’t believe I’m even saying that) to get a job!

Heck, maybe if he took the $250 A DAY that he and his gang of thieves stole from us, we could all afford to pay for his $30 government extortion fee, despite the fact that it is clearly illegal and unconstitutional!
