Rep. Louie Gohmert (TX-01) questioned the acting Secret Service Director about the White House security breach in a House Judiciary Hearing. He mentioned the “breakdown in White House leadership” as one of his main concerns. He asked the director if he would be in favor of eliminating the fence around the White House – and boldly stated, “If it [ a fence] is not good enough for our border, it should not be good enough for the White House.”
