Well I’d like everyone to always have a happy day everyday, but we pick out a few days on the calendar to express that sentiment, and this is one of them, but this is another one of those religious holidays with pagan roots.
Religiously, we’re celebrating the resurrection of Christ, but for the pagans, it’s a celebration of fertility (that’s what makes the bunny so appropriate).
Astronomically, it’s the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox (vernal equinox + full moon + Sunday = Easter), and it’s one day before kids discover that colored eggs taste just like regular eggs.
I want to publicly thank Henry and Laura for this site, For their contribution to the effort of attaining peace through, truth, and for in the last resort, explaining that each must defend themselves…in time of most dire circumstances….if the US Gov…attacks us all…..
Bless these people,,,,they take a lot of heat, I fear, that is never known via those who come to this web site or others like it..
