High School Football Crowd Told They Should Be Shot If They Refuse To Stand For Anthem

An Alabama pastor, who is also a high school football announcer, told the crowd they should be shot if they don’t stand for the national anthem.

According Tom Boggioni of Raw Story, Pastor Allen Joyner of the Sweet Home Baptist Church made the announcement prior to a game at McKenzie High School, telling the attendees they should prepare to line up for execution by members of the military.

Joyner completely ignores the myriad of veterans that support the U.S.b constitution and personal freedom.

“If you don’t want to stand for the national anthem, you can line up over there by the fence and let our military personnel take a few shots at you since they’re taking shots for you,” he announced to the cheers of the crowd, according to a Facebook post — since removed — by attendee Denise Crowley-Whitfield.

Joyner’s comments were likely rooted in his dislike for the growing popularity of the Black Lives Matter Movement and the actions of NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick who said he would not stand for the national anthem due to the mistreatment of African-Americans in the U.S., which has inspired a growing number of others to follow suit.

Speaking for Butler County Schools, Superintendent Amy Bryan immediately denounced Joyner’s comments in a statement, saying, “Patriotism should be a part of school events but threats of shooting people who aren’t patriotic, even in jest, have no place at a school. Threats of violence are a violation of school policy and certainly not condoned by the school board.”

While Bryan makes a good point that people should not be shot for not being patriotic, she seems to suggest that people who choose not to stand for the anthem, even if it is a protest about wanting to improve the country and strive for EQUALITY and FREEDOM (American patriotic concepts), are NOT patriotic.

According to Boggioni,  Sweet Home Baptist briefly supported Joyner’s comments on its Facebook page on Saturday before pulling the post after approximately an hour.

Is saying we should line up and shoot Americans who want to exercise their constitutional rights what it takes to be a patriot? Why do so many people think is it NOT patriotic to protest against anti-American values-such as prejudice and racial discrimination? Perhaps they are the real patriots.

  1. Pastor shitbags should be shot for being a statist piece of dog shit. He is a threat to his community, his family and his country. He will lead many idiots further down the Bible thumping flag waving road of ignorance and communism.

  2. In highschool I never stood for the anthem, never really know anyone who did less they were a government hardliner. It is not my government and no longer my nation, they sold it off a very long time ago to masons, jews, “nobles” and communists (also foreigners) so why bother standing? Also since WHEN do we stand and pledge allegiance to the “republic?” Oh right, old would be emperor lincoln started that.

We need an “I swear allegiance to the original Bill of Rights” pledge instead.

  3. Read Exodus chapter 20 (ten commandments) & Daniel chapter 3. I cannot give worshipful allegiance to a national emblem. I cannot imagine someone like Patrick Henry or Thomas Jefferson compelling such allegiance.

    1. YEA BUT THAT PR#@K JEFFERSON “REWROTE” THE NEW TESTAMENT IN HIS IMAGE BECAUSE HE DIDNT AGREE WITH IT…… THEN GAVE OUT COPIES TO CONGRESS….. JEWISH TRASH ALL……………………….

  4. I say people should be shot (or at least deported) for being enemies of the Bill of Rights — the REAL meaning of America. How about that, “Pastor”?

Also, I’d love for that jackass to explain how members of the military are “taking shots” for me.

  5. I always refused to say the anthem in school, it never felt right to me. I graduated in 99 if anyone wonders. I pledge to follow the Golden Rule, I pledge to respect my neighbors, I pledge to fight this harvester of sorrow system to the death if need be.

  6. “… the actions of NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick who said he would not stand for the national anthem due to the mistreatment of African-Americans in the U.S.,..”

    Stupid nigger.

    WE’RE ALL BEING ‘MISTREATED’, D#CKWAD!!!

    YOU AIN’T SPECIAL!!!!!

  7. And yes, any @sshole that thinks he’s special just because he’s black, is a NIGGER in my book.

Stand up for ALL races, or STFU!!!!!

I wouldn’t go so far as to advocate shooting this POS dirty church @sshole, but a Louisville Slugger upside his head would likely shut his commie yap for a while.

Meals through a straw with a broken jaw.
