This video shows how to fillet a Largemouth Bass. This same technique also works for bluegill, and crappie. This is very simple, and only requires a sharp fillet knife.

I HAVE LITERALLY “FILE’D” THOUSANDS OF THESE CRITTERS. ALTHOUGH IT IS POSSIBLE TO DO IT WITH A BUTCHER KNIFE, A BENDY, RAZOR SHARP FILET KNIFE IS A LOT EASIER OR THE NERVES. THE LONGER 8 IN BLADE WORKS BETTER FOR THE BIGGER ONES.
