What are you talking about? A magnet on the side of your meter box doesn’t change a thing! They are ripping him off! If a magnet made any difference, we would all be paying a lot less for electricity, ridiculous.
Well. I’ll just say this. As understand this. He got a letter. Not a legal notice, or a legal notice that he had done something wrong or illegal. He was accused of ‘tampering’. What about illegal, unlawful taking of ones property? Which goes on continuously everyday? Even when we are sleeping by these monopoly corporations? I think we are living in the ‘game of monopoly’ matrix where the tail of the dog (corporations, like Oncore) can just claim whatever and charge you with a $300+ bill! Oh yeh, that’s legit! No proof or documentation is required. If the Congress critters had been doing their well paid jobs, this b.s. would have never been permitted. When Corporations like Oncore were first allowed to do business here, it was clearly established that, that entity could not violate the rights of we the people. And, they were put forth as a benefit to us. Not what Corporations have become, which is a life sucking parasite entity which operates outside of the BOR and our Constitution. This guys meter is a ‘smart’ meter and has been proven to cause many home fires, and another of the many many health risk type technologies. For the sake of argument. Let’s say, he knew he was saving pennies by putting the magnet on the meter box. In such legal controversies, the accusing side of this has to prove willful knowledge and intention!!! This would have to be proven in a Court of LAW if we had any of them still operating today. Good luck on finding one of them! I’m thankful to see and hear someone pissed off at this egregious usurpation and criminal activity going on these days.

As an electrician, I can assure you that a magnet will not lower your electric bill.
