On March 25th, a disturbing and rapidly expanding caravan of more than 1,500 Central American migrants began a journey from the municipality of Tapachula on the Mexico-Guatemala border. The movement is supported by Pueblos Sin Fronteras (People Without Borders Inc.), a 501(c) non-profit organization located in Washington, D.C.
Known as the Viacrucis Migrante 2018, this is a very well calculated and politically motivated attack on the United States with thousands of migrants planning to invade California through Tijuana, a border city on the Mexico–United States border, just 20-miles south of California, in about a month’s time.
According to Univision, once the large wave of migrants reaches the northern border town, they will attempt to “obtain asylum in the United States.” Otherwise, if that fails, thousands of migrants will hold demonstrations — most likely on the border crossings, which could create a humanitarian crisis for the United States.
Nevertheless, just miles from Tijuana, President Trump’s border wall prototypes have become an iconic image of his presidency, and it would not be shocking if the wave of migrants protested the Mexican side of the barrier to gain international attention. If all else fails, the migrants could disband and attempt to ilegally cross into the United States.
Telesur, a pan–Latin American television network, states the caravan of migrants are demanding from Mexico and the United States, “open borders and asylum access, an end to deportations which destroy families, [and continuation of] vital migrant programs such as the Temporary Protected Status.”
Unfortunately, it seems as the federal government of Mexico is allowing the caravan of undocumented migrants to safely pass through — in an apparent act of retaliation against the Trump administration’s proposed new border wall, and perhaps as a bargaining chip to renegotiate NAFTA.
This tactic of the organized use of human beings on the Mexico–United States border is nothing new, but the sheer size of this latest coordinated attack, expected to hit the United States in 30-days, is unprecedented and could spark a humanitarian crisis for the Trump administration.
Here is what BuzzFeed said about the “huge caravan” of immigrants headed for the United States:
For five days now hundreds of Central Americans — children, women, and men, most of them from Honduras — have boldly crossed immigration checkpoints, military bases, and police in a desperate, sometimes chaotic march toward the United States. Despite their being in Mexico without authorization, no one has made any effort to stop them.
Organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders, the caravan is intended to help migrants safely reach the United States, bypassing not only authorities who would seek to deport them, but gangs and cartels who are known to assault vulnerable migrants.
Organizers like Rodrigo Abeja hope that the sheer size of the crowd will give immigration authorities and criminals pause before trying to stop them.
“If we all protect each other we’ll get through this together,” Abeja yelled through a loudspeaker on the morning they left Tapachula, on Mexico’s border with Guatemala, for the nearly monthlong trek.
When they get to the US, they hope American authorities will grant them asylum or, for some, be absent when they attempt to cross the border illegally. More likely is that it will set up an enormous challenge to the Trump administration’s immigration policies and its ability to deal with an organized group of migrants numbering in the hundreds.
The number of people who showed up to travel with the caravan caught organizers by surprise, and has overwhelmed the various towns they’ve stopped in to spend the night. Pueblos Sin Fronteras counted about 1,200 people on the first day.”
Pueblos Sin Fronteras (People Without Borders Inc.) has been actively posting updates on Facebook as the group travels through Mexico:
“Leaving the caravan with more than 1000 refugees,” said Pueblos Sin Frontera on March 25.
“More than a thousand people in a row in central park, ready to start the caravan // more than 1000 people lined up in the central park of tapachula ready to start the caravan,” said the group.
The refugee caravan begins.
On March 26, the group indicates the size of the march is rapidly gaining in strength… Just one day in.
“Yesterday when we crossed the immigration checkpoint, the agents had left the site. The Caravan is already breaking down borders!!! Now to the next gate with 1200-1500 refugees! // Yesterday when we crossed the first immigration checkpoint, the INM agents had abandoned their posts! The refugee caravan is already knocking down borders!!!! On to the next checkpoint, 1200-1500 strong!”
On March 28, the group indicated they had stopped in Arriaga Municipality, in southern Mexico.
“Thanks to the people of Arriaga, Chiapas, standing in solidarity with the migrants of the Refugee Caravan and offering them water to quench their thirst! #VivaMexico! Thanks to the people of arriaga, Chiapas, solidarizandose with the migrants of the caravan stations migrants in the fight, giving them water to remove the thirst! #Vivamexico!”
Here are the migrants illegally boarding covered hopper freight railcars.
Video: “Migrantes en la Lucha” marching on the tracks and preparing to board the train in Arriaga.
In the train boarding video, we spotted a DJI Mavic Pro drone easily worth $1,000 to $1,300 USD. The march is depicted as a grassroots effort, but perhaps, there is some big money behind the movement.
On March 29, families of the march were bathing 20-miles forth of Arriaga in the Rio River of San Pedro Tepanatepec.
Starting Day 5 of #viacrucismigrante2018, here families wash clothes and bathe in the Rio River of San Pedro Tepanatepec, while other companions prepare rice and beans. 350 men have just arrived who walked all night from arriaga. On the last trip two traileros stopped and all 350 of them went to the trailers together to arrive at Dawn with the others.
BuzzFeed provides an update on Friday’s whereabouts of the group:
“By Friday afternoon, plans to make it to another train stop had fallen through, and the caravan set up camp in Santiago Niltepec, in Mexico’s Oaxaca state. Several of the buildings in the municipality are still cracked and crumbling from an earthquake that struck in February. But migrants took shelter in them anyway as it began to rain. Many of the people were wondering when, or if, they’d be able to board “the Beast” for the journey north.”
There could be many more updates on this developing story over the coming days/weeks/month ahead, as a rogue group of thousands of migrants — supported by a non-profit in Washington D.C., attempts to paralyze the United States Border Patrol in the Tijuana region — with a goal of unleashing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis on the Mexico–United States border. Nevertheless, Mexico is deliberately aiding and abetting in all of this nonsense, could this be an act of war?
TRY AND HANG EVERY @@#HOLE SUPPORTING THIS………………..
TREASON??????
SEDITION?????????…….
GO TO DC AND DRAG THIER LITTLE ASSES OUT OF THIER CUBICLES AND CLUB ‘EM LIKE A DAMN BABY SEAL….
What’s interesting to notice is the photographer’s concentration on women and children, when reports tell us this army is 80% fighting aged males.
I’m not really interested in their progress, but I would definitely be interested in the progress of an American caravan of militia going there to do the job our treasonous “government” refuses to.
If they’re not stopped, it’s the end of our border altogether. They may be “people without borders”, but unfortunately for them, we like our border for the purpose of keeping roving crime waves out of here.
They’re making a media event out of this for the purpose of officially destroying our border, which in effect, is the end of our nation.
Jolly, I’m reposting this from comment on Breitbart in light of a comment you made yesterday, I think it was yesterday.
“We all now know that an invading army is on its way. If the federal government refuses to resist this invasion, is it time for the citizenry to step in? The democrats always claim that the 2nd is only for militias…is it time to show them a militia? Is there any organized gathering of citizen troops happening to meet this invading force that is approaching? I have not heard of any groups yet. I’m surprised by that. Are the Minutemen still around? Are they responding?”
