1. Definition, WHITE PHOSPHORUS:

   White phosphorus is considered illegal to use in populated civilian areas because it is a devastating incendiary weapon that causes extreme, indiscriminate suffering. It burns at temperatures up to 1,500C (2,732F) upon contact with oxygen, penetrating skin, flesh, and even bone, while causing fatal smoke inhalation or causing severe, long-term health damage.

   Indiscriminate Weaponry: Its use in densely populated areas violates international humanitarian laws, which require distinguishing between combatants and civilians.
   Severe Injury and Death: It causes deep, severe burns, and particles can re-ignite inside a wound. Environmental Damage: It is highly toxic, causing lasting damage to plants and can persist in soil.
