The Syrian air defense systems have opened fire on Israeli missiles over Aleppo city this evening amid reports of Israeli new attack against Syria.
Field sources have told Muraselon website that multiple explosions were heard from the surrounding of Aleppo Airport and Sheikh Najjar, the industrial zone in northern Aleppo city where multiple enemy missiles have hit targets in the area.
The Syrian air defense batteries have managed to shoot down a dozen of enemy missiles while the attack is still ongoing.
A Syrian Army official source just published a statement confirming the Israeli attack adding that they targeted the industrial zone in Sheikh Najjar, northeast Aleppo city while air defense systems have managed to shoot down multiple missiles and the attack only caused material damage.
