Geez, I didn’t know May Day was also International Worker’s Day, founded by Socialists and Communists. Just found that out. I just thought it was an old pagan holiday honoring the rites of spring and the earth. Is every frikkin’ thing co-opted? Another thing to be rescued back. I love May Day, the playful, fun, flirtatious, audacious, un-communistic variety. Geez.
