Over the weekend 54-year-old Jon Lewis Alexander was working at Beer:30 Liquor Store in Marionville, Missouri when a man entered the store, pulled a gun on him and demanded money. Alexander, an Iraq veteran who has served four tours of duty, quickly turned the tables on the would-be robber. Alexander pulled out his own firearm, pointed it at the thief and told him to get out of here before he blows his head off. The entire incident was captured on the store’s security camera.
I’m not sure why it matters that the clerk was a veteran of the criminal Iraq war, but I’m glad the robber was taught a lesson.
