Livin’ on a Prayer: Hillary to Fundraise With Bon Jovi

The Weekly Standard – by Daniel Harper

Hillary Clinton will be fundraising later this month with Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi, according to an announcement on the candidate’s website. The event will be held in New Jersey.

Tickets to the June 29 event cost $1,000 for the cheapest ticket and $2,700 for premium seating. Here’s a copy of the flyer posted to Clinton’s website:

As the fine print says, $2,700 is the legal donation limit. “An individual may contribute up to $2,700 per election (the primary and general are separate elections). By submitting your contribution, you agree that the first $2,700 of a contribution will be designated for the 2016 primary election, and any additional amount up to $2,700 will be designated for the 2016 general election. By providing your phone number, you are consenting to receive calls, including automated calls to that number from Hillary for America,” the fine print reads.

“Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle.”

  1. Jon Bon Jovi’s been a ‘bought off” piece of $hit who has become nothing but a joo douchebag since his days in “Alley McBeal”. I’m like Bill Hicks. If you see any rock stars in Hollywood or in TV commercials, they give up their status as legitimate, original artists.

    1. Got that right, Millard. Jon Bon Joovi also comes from nazi Jersey so he’s used to her style of amerikanism. Useful idiot is an understatement.

  2. I used to be neutral on Bon Jovi, but now I’ve swung over to the “do not like” Bon Jovi side of the dial.
