In Florida:
Some local gun shops are reporting an increase in people buying AR-15 rifles.
The weapon, dubbed “America’s most popular rifle” by the NRA, has been used in many mass shootings like the one in Las Vegas and most recently at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
Aaron Forum, the owner of the Shoot Center in Cape Coral, said the store has seen AR-15 rifle sales increase by 30 percent following the Parkland incident.
He said it’s a typical response following tragedies like mass shootings because people fear future restrictions would prevent them from owning the weapon.
“Most people understand especially when a tragedy like this happens that if enough lawmakers get together, it’s only a matter of time before we see another ban again. It may not be this year, but I think in the future it’s definitely a possibility,” said Forum.

EUREKA, Mo. (KMOV.com) –
Some gun store owners in the St. Louis area say sales of AR-15’s are rising as the national debate over gun control heats up.
At Ultimate Defense Shooting Range in St. Peters daily sales are now equaling what they normally would sell in a week.
“In the last three days we’ve sold 3 to 5 a day,” says owner Paul Bastean.
Bastean says it’s no coincidence buyers are reacting to the sudden calls for gun control.
“It’s a younger dynamic than we’ve had in past events and I think social media plays a lot to that younger dynamic,” said Bastean.
Part of the reasons there are so many AR-15’s is because gun manufacturers overproduced them anticipating a Hilary Clinton presidential victory in 2016, Bastean said.
Prices for AR-15’s can vary from around $400 to a couple of thousand dollars.
Calls for a ban of AR-15 are being raised after last week’s school shooting in Florida that killed 17.
That’s right
And people don’t go spending that kind of money with the intent of giving them up
I know I don’t

They were right, that’s exactly how it was supposed to play out.
But they weren’t quite ready for a full-on revolution just yet, so they had no choice but to capitulate. Not that it really matters, they still have 100% control over this @ssclown anyway.
